Blue Wave Suite

Myself my wife and son have just returned from a week at this hotel. This was a last minute break which we were a little apprehensive about due to a lot of negative reviews on here but it was a good deal so we took a punt. First of all the transfer is quite a long one from the airport so would recommend a private transfer, it took just over 2 hours rather than 3 hours plus some have mentioned by coach. First impression of the hotel was good, nice and clean and reception staff helpful. We paid for a family suite which was a little bit more than the economy but this was due to some previous reviews of the annexe across from the main hotel. I am so pleased we done this as after checking out the annexe section which was a bit out the way the whole area looked a bit tired snd in need of a refurb. The room we where given was on the second floor of the main building overlooking the pool with a great view. The room itself was basic but decent size with a fridge which is a bonus and good aircon so we where happy. The pool area was really good too and no issues getting a sunbed, my son enjoyed the slides in the aqua park bit which was bigger than expected. The hotel has its own beach area which was a 5 minute walk with, beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks, we enjoyed our days here, nice beach and sea but a bit rocky when you first enter the sea. The all inclusive drinks options pretty basic but soft drinks fine, nice effes beer and vodka was ok which is what we drink so we were fine. Food was hit and miss and quite repetitive like others mentioned, we weren't really a fan of breakfast selection but lunch and snacks and dinner ok, nothing too exciting but you won't go hungry. Ice creams are served for an hour each day which are decent like magnum type but there own brand but much better than little tubs a lot of places offer. Entertainment team during the day really good, they have darts, Jenga, water games, they had a bull ride and inflatables in the poolnone day and try to get everyone involved but not pushy if you dont want to. The area of Oba is nice lots of shops restaurants, we also took a taxi to Alanya which we got some bargains on clothes but some of the shop owners a bit pushy so won't be everyone's cup of tea. A few areas thst could improve things in my opinion. The bed sheets are like a towel quite material eith one cover each notvyhe most comfortable. The AI drinks are served in small cups, they have bigger cups but refuse to put drinks in these even though you can get a few small cups at a time just doesn't seem to make sense to me? Only one cocktail option each day on AI from a machine in my in my opinion not great. Food plates very small, and forks are not replaced so you have to hunt and take from other tables which can be frustrating. Entertainment on an evening wasn't great but to be fair there was something on every night. There weren't many brits here which Im not saying is a negative but some of the other nationalities when it comes to manners such as queuing, saying please and thank you leave a lot to be desired. Despite a few negatives overall this was a really nice holiday and I wouldn't be put off by the bad reviews.

It was just a perfect vacation! The hotel exceeded all my expectations - impeccable service, luxurious rooms, and a stunning atmosphere. The staff was attentive and friendly, creating a feeling that you were a truly valued guest. Cleanliness, coziness, comfort - everything is top-notch! The breakfasts are delicious and varied, and the territory is well-kept and beautiful. I was completely delighted and will definitely come back again!

I am here with my partner and I am really enjoying it here, the staff is super friendly and the animation staff is really great, super cozy, you won't be bored for a second. I have no complaints about this hotel, they run at full capacity here and make everyone happy, young and old, just nothing to complain about.
