Mitos Apart Hotel

Worn rooms, poor lighting in the rooms, AC costs, broken & short sheets, too poor insulation. We heard the guests as if they were sitting in our room. Reception doesn't help much even though guests sounded so loud late at night for SEVERAL nights. Extremely hot by the pool as it blows nothing. Will never take that hotel again!

We rented the apartment hotel as a practical solution after staying at the OBA Star Hotel - so as not to overpay for the late check-out and to have a quiet last day with the child. In the end, it turned out to be a very successful decision: we left without haste and spent the time as comfortable as possible, including the daytime sleep of the child as a family. The room turned out to be clean, spacious and well suited for family stay. The layout is comfortable: two separate areas - a living room with kitchen and a bedroom, which makes living more comfortable, especially with a child. Separately, it is worth noting that the air conditioning was only installed in the bedroom and its use was for an additional charge (about 430 lire). Meals are not included in our room at the Aparthotel, but this did not become a problem - we had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was quick, the service was pleasant and attentive. Overall, there were very positive experiences: it is a convenient and very inexpensive option for a short stop or “buffer” day before departure, when comfort, space and a calm rhythm are important without being tied to the hotel schedule.

Mitos Apartment was unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The hotel is marketed as a 2-star property, but in my opinion it does not meet that standard at all. The cleaning was inadequate and there were small animals in the room. The floors felt sticky when walking on them, and generally the place seemed worn and poorly kept. The bathroom lacked both hand soap and other basic facilities, the toilet was running constantly, and several doors could not be locked properly. In addition, extensive construction is taking place just outside the entrance, causing considerable noise. At the same time there was renovation work in the hotel itself, which made the stay even less pleasant. Small animals in the bathroom, sticky floor to walk on, toilet running so you can't sleep. Overall, the place in no way reflects the little quality one should be able to expect from 2 stars, I would only recommend it to travelers with a very limited budget who are used to simple backpacker-hostels. For everyone else I would recommend choosing a different accommodation, like any other places...
