Sun Star Beach

Absolutely dreadful, we arrived late to the hotel due to our transfer being delayed so it was 5am, the staff looked like they had been asleep. After we had been checked in we were then guided back outside the hotel and had to walk three streets away to our rooms in another block, our 4 children were extremely tired and had to help us push suitcases up a hill and across roads. On arrival to our rooms the staff opened the rooms to find there wasnt enough beds for us all. He then showed my husband to a spare room and asked him to carry a bed into the room we had been allocated, the second room we had didn't have electricity. I made up the bed as the staff left bedding but didn't offer to make the bed my husband had transported. The staff member found a different room for my eldest two children to sleep in on a different floor but then left us with a master key as he didn't want to return to the building. The next day the room situation was resolved but definitely not the best start to our holiday. Each time we wished to have a meal we had to travel back to the main building. The food was very poor quality and the choice for children was limited. The so called all inclusive bar drinks were a choice of vodka or beer, both of which i don't drink. On one day the beer pump went off so just vodka all day. The hotel staff gave us limited information about facilities so we relied on guests and ourselves to find everything. We spent additional money on food and drinks due to limited choice not the 4* all inclusive experience we had payed for and expected.

Everyone please avoid booking the sun star beach hotel, it is absolutely disgusting. My husband is not very well and has been vomiting since eating at the hotel, there were flies everywhere in the restaurant and they were landing on the food also the food was atrocious same repeated food served everyday with little to no changes. We’re told it was all inclusive but the only cocktails they served was sex on the beach and all drinks were served in small cardboard coffee cups. The shower in our room was filthy too. And my husband is still ill after arriving back home yesterday.

Awful, two drinks available in an all inclusive is just terrible. Lager and vodka bar stocked with empty bottles. NO entertainment at all. food basic nothing for kids
