Well what can you say about the place!!! There are only two good points to the hotel: 1. The rooms are spacious & clean. 2. the location there is plenty to do around the hotel all within walking distance - plenty of shops, restaurants & bars which is great if you are self catering. We arrived Sat morning after a 4 & 1/2 hour coach journey (should have only been 2-2&1/2) at first they could not find the hotel then when they did they parked at the end of the road & we had to walk up to the hotel carrying our suit cases. There was 5 of us in our group & had booked 3 rooms we were all very tired we had set of from our homes in England at 3pm & all we wanted to do was have a shower & a kip. We walked into reception to be advised we were early!!! not really sure how they come to that conclusion & told us they had no rooms available & that the 3 rooms would be ready at 10am, we were told to go for breakfast whilst we waited. We went into the dining room to find that the all inclusive breakfast consists of boiled eggs some bread, olives, two meats & two cheeses & some jam & honey, not great but ok it is a typical Turkish breakfast. There was no cups to grab a cup of coffee so in the end we had to walk out to a bar at the end of the road to grab a cupper great start spending out when you are ALL_INCLUSIVE!!! At 10am we were told the rooms would not be ready until 12 they had one room that we could have & they put 5 beds in so we could have a sleep. We saw the rep and asked for flights home we were told that the earliest that we could fly would be the following Friday & that we had no chance of being moved to another hotel she spoke with reception who guaranteed that we would have the other rooms at 12. she told us to give it a couple of days & see how we got on. Come 12 they still has no rooms & was told that they would now be ready at 3pm so we had some lunch which was just about edible a choice of a couple of mixed salads with olives, there were 3 hot plates one had a meat dish in it, one had a vegetable dish & the other was a rice dish again no cups for coffee & plates & cuttlery was not clean. they did not have any sprite or seven up just a very sweet drink that was a bit like a creamsoda no diet coke (my mum is diabetic & i am pregnant so neither of us are able to drink & can only drink diet coke & we were told we would have to go to the shop & buy this!!), the rep did sort out that they were to supply this for us which they finally did 24 hours later but they bought between one & two small bottles at a time so run out every day & then we would have the argument again about them buying it for us & not us having to go & buy it. 3pm came theymanaged to get us another room, & stated that the 3rd room would possibley be available that evening if not it would be the following evening, they said that the 5th person would either have to share one of our rooms or would have to use a small room not much bigger than the broom cupboard!!! Again we complained to the rep who said there would be a roomm available by 8pm, we were also advised by our rep that we were the first English people to visit this hotel in 8 months, the main guests are either German,Sweedish or Polish. We later found out from a locla bar/restaurant that there were English people in there a fews prior who had the same problems not having enough rooms for the guests & they were chucked the room keys & told to sort the rooms there self a couple of people moved out of the hotel but had to fork out the exspense there selfs. After speaking with some German girls we were advised that they had the same problem after two days they still have the amount of rooms they had booked that they all had to share. Come 5.30pm the third room was now available!!! We were made to feel very unwelcome by the hotel staff they kept talking about us & looking & laughing at us which made us feel very uncomfortable. We went to the dinning room on the Saturday evening (not even been here 24 hours feels like a life sentence) managed to get a table no chairs & the food was unedible the meat fell of my husbands plate & bounced!! My husband would not allow me to eat the food what with being pregnant so we ended up having to eat out. We see the rep again the next morning & demanded to be moved as i had been up all night crying about staying here & was told we would not be moved. we ended up eating out for every meal has i do not know what was worse the food or the atmosphere, having been all-inclusive in various countries we knew what to expect but have never had anything this bad - i wish we had gone to Butlins instead would have been better & cheaper!!! had this been a cheap holiday then we would not have grumbled or had this been slef catering it would have been fine but we spent £750.00 each for this crap & my uncle paid over £1000 with the single supplement. They advertiesd there was a pool bar this is covered by leaves 7 used to store the sun beds looks like never been used!!! the pool was absoultley filthy, they never turned the lights on in the corridors or on the stairs until you went over & complained!!! We were finally moved on the Thursday after legal threats to another hotel marginally better than this Sun Gardens - see seperate review, after spending £150.00+ on food & drink when we should have been all-inclusive!!!!
