Yalihan Aspendos Hotel

At the time of check-in, the hotel was 4-star, not 3-star as indicated on the website. However, in fact, in terms of comfort level, this hotel surpasses many budget "fives" with "strained" stars. In my feeling, this is a 5-star because the hotel doesn't skimp on anything. Objectively, the hotel doesn't have a heated pool for a 5-star, but the friendly staff more than compensates for everything with their warmth. And also various small things that other hotels usually skimp on - beautiful room decor, quality dining and bar equipment, and other expensive and new hotel equipment. There is a fitness center with good equipment, as well as a hammam and spa, in a separate building. The rooms in the hotel are small but comfortable with low ceilings and a tropical style interior, giving a feeling of coziness. The minibar with various drinks is included in the price and is restocked daily. A very convenient "tropical shower" with excellent pressure. The room was only missing robes and toothbrushes, but otherwise everything was in abundance - iron, slippers, soap, gel, shampoos, cotton swabs - everything is there. New large-screen televisions in the rooms. Room cleaning and towel replacement every day. The hotel's territory is relatively small, but very well-kept, and it is pleasant to walk around in the evenings. A beach of yellow fine sand that is pleasant and very comfortable to walk on barefoot because the sand is not shifting. However, there are no piers or other coastal structures at the hotel. The free Wi-Fi is very fast with a coverage area of 2km, and if you are relaxing without excursions, you don't need to buy a SIM card. The restaurant is cozy and resembles a "restaurant" rather than a canteen, and the staff always offers to refresh drinks, including wine. Imported alcohol. The hotel bar and beach bars have almost everything for any cocktail. The bartenders were very polite and easily agreed to mix a cocktail according to my personal recipe (to my perverse taste). The barmaids are very attractive and smiling. The hotel is mainly oriented towards Europe (mainly elderly Germans). Although the Admins speak Russian well, the rest of the staff does not. But the level is much higher than in Russia-oriented hotels. Modern and comfortable beach equipment: plastic sunbeds with fine mesh, wooden boardwalks, reed umbrellas. Background music (and, as I thought, the hotel concept) - relaxation. Therefore, this place is ideal for those who want to escape the noise and hustle, the children's cries, and the shouts of those who have not gone far from the children. Here you can meet a beautiful sunset in a slightly secluded spot with pleasant music.

Everything about this hotel is 5 star. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with cold towels and champagne. Our bags were escorted to our room by a lovely gentleman. The food has been absolutely delicious. We booked onto the steak restaurant which was 20€ per person and the Italian restaurant which was 10€ per person and we cannot fault the food or service! The cocktail and drinks menu have plenty of choice. Our favourites were the Yalihan specials and the strawberry daiquiri. It was my partners 23rd birthday while we were here and we booked the cabana which was kindly decorated and that was our favourite day of the trip. Later that night on his birthday we received a nock on the door with a hand written note and wine with some pastries which were complementary for his birthday. All day every staff member wishes him a happy birthday. All the staff have been amazing, there English speaking is enough to get by and a lot are keen to speak to us so they can practice there English speaking which I found amazing. The beach is clean and the sea is lovely to swim in. The pool is cool which is perfect when the weather was 39 degrees some days. The rooms are modern and extremely clean. They even do a pest control spray every 3 days to make sure no bugs are within the room. This was our first time in Turkey and we will definitely be coming back. We will 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. We are sad to leave to be honest ☹️. Everything was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the pastries in the bakery were amazing. Every single member of the staff was very helpful. The Turkish coffee was delicious and served with care. The chefs at the restaurant are very helpful; they immediately bring us anything we ask for that isn't on the buffet. My niece is on a gluten-free diet, and they helped her with that too. We would like to thank everyone involved: the guest relations team, the kitchen staff, and the service team.
