We have been vacationing in Selchukhan for several years in a row. Love the proximity of Antalya, the quietness of the village and the incredibly beautiful mountain landscape.
It is nice to watch the hotel develop, becoming more comfortable and cozy. The cleanliness and well-kept nature of the grounds, courtesy, neatness of the staff, friendly and hospitable nature of the hotel owners, who are always welcome to the regular customers, remain constant. We want to note the concerted work of animators who offered entertainment for adults and children. We came with a five-year-old, the girl loved coming to the kids' club and the evening animation.
I would like to pay special tribute to Tariq for his competent work with people, energy and boundless humor. We can safely say that Tariq is the emotional center of the hotel.
The food is good. We had enough.
This year we were staying in a family-superior suite - and it was our best decision. This room is spacious, comfortable, with two air conditioners, with beautiful mountain views. The downside is cleaning the room, replacing the towels and the bed. But if you talk about a problem, it's solved right away. You can always be heard.
We thank the management and team of Selchukhan for our wonderful holiday. We wish you success, prosperity and the best customers! We'll miss you!

It's the first time we've had a holiday in this hotel. Spent 10 days here in mid-July, traveling together with a friend.
The journey from the airport by group transfer took about 45 minutes. The hotel was one of the first on the route, so the road did not seem exhausting. We arrived late in the evening when the main dinner was over. Even so, you could still eat night soup at the restaurant.
The first impression of the hotel was very pleasant. The lobby was clean and cool thanks to the working air conditioning, and we were welcomed at the reception. There was no line, the staff quickly checked in and immediately put on bracelets. There were Russian-speaking staff at the reception, so there were no difficulties in communicating.
As there were no available standard rooms at the time of our arrival, we spent the first night in a family room with a higher category. The next day, towards lunch, we were quickly moved into a standard room booked. The whole process went smoothly and without any inconvenience.
During the rest period we managed to compare two categories of rooms. The family room was noticeably larger, with more modern renovations, shower watering and slippers. Both rooms had pleasant mountain views.
We carried the suitcases ourselves, but this did not cause any problems, as the hotel has an elevator. We also want to mention a convenient digital system: using QR codes placed in different parts of the hotel, you can go to the site, see the schedule of restaurants and animation program, and leave a request for cleaning the room or troubleshooting.
The grounds of the hotel make a good impression from the first minute. It's compact, well-kept and very green.
After the first night in the family room, we moved into a standard room. It turned out to be small and already clearly in need of renovation, but in general everything was necessary for a comfortable rest.
Of the pros, we want to mention comfortable mattresses and pillows, good sound insulation and the successful location of the air conditioning. Although it is above the beds, the cold air flow was not directed directly at the sleepers, so it was comfortable at night.
That said, there are a few points that the administration should look at. There were only two outlets in the main room located by the mirror. There were no outlets near the beds. Bed linen and bedspreads showed noticeable signs of wear and tear, with chafing and small holes. When we moved in, the cleaning was not done thoroughly enough and we had to wipe some surfaces and drawers ourselves. The air-conditioning and TV remotes were also contaminated, so we recommend wiping them with a wet wipe immediately.
Daily cleaning was done regularly. Waste was taken out every day, water was brought in daily in small bottles. However, the towels were replaced only after the application via the QR code, the toilet paper was replenished only after it was completely run out, and the bed linen was never changed during the 10 days of rest.
The bathroom is very compact. The water pressure was good and there were no problems with the drainage. Hygiene supplies included shampoo, conditioner, and soap in wall dispensers, but the dispensers themselves are not very secure, so they are easy to accidentally knock down. The shower enclosure is small. The bathroom lacked ventilation, causing the towels to barely dry and mold to be visible on the tiles. Sometimes you could smell the sewers. Disposable toothbrushes and slippers are not included in the standard room.
The room had a free safe, a small refrigerator with several bottles of water, a TV with Russian channels and a balcony with a table, chairs, an ashtray and a small dryer for beach items. The refrigerator cooled well, and there was enough light. There was no kettle in the standard room.
The cabinet is equipped only with a bar for hangers and uncomfortable hangers. There was enough space for two people, although additional storage space would be useful. The electricity in the room is operated through a key card, and only one card is issued per room, which may not always be convenient if two are resting.
During the rest period, the only major technical problem occurred. The second night, the air conditioning stopped working. After the appeal, the master came quickly enough, but it was not until a day later that the fault was finally repaired. We've got a fan waiting for us. We thank the staff for their willingness to help and for the prompt temporary replacement, but the fan itself was quite noisy and unfortunately dirty, so it was uncomfortable to use it at night. After repairs, the air conditioning functioned properly until the end of rest.
Separately worth noting is the balcony. If you open the door at night, mosquitoes fly into the room, so it's best to plan ahead.
We rested on an all-inclusive basis and were satisfied with the food. For a four-star hotel, the choice of dishes was really good. The menu was partially repeated. In the hot weather, we were more likely to choose vegetables, fruits and grilled dishes, so we had enough variety.
The main restaurant always had a good selection of side dishes, fresh vegetables, salads, fruits, berries and desserts. During our holiday, watermelons, melons, cherries, apricots, oranges, apples, pears and plums were served. The desserts were delicious.
The outdoor area was open to the grill. In the mornings they cooked icing, omelets and pancakes, and in the afternoon and evening they cooked fish, chicken and turkey. Fish were on the menu almost every day. One of the most pleasant surprises was the evening they served crawfish for dinner.
There were also dry breakfasts at breakfast, and coffee and juices could be taken from the machines. The restaurant had a bar where soft and alcoholic drinks were offered throughout the day.
Despite the large number of guests, the queues were small and tables were always available. Especially nice that you could choose whether to eat in the cool air-conditioned room or on the outdoor terrace. Restaurant staff quickly cleaned tables, promptly replenished dishes and even during peak hours worked very smoothly.
In addition to the main restaurant, there are three other bars on site. The lobby has a bar where coffee can be purchased for an additional fee. Drinks bars are available by the pool and on the beach, and a snack bar is also available at certain hours, where you can eat without returning to the main restaurant. In the garden, traditional Turkish gezleme cakes are baked during the day.
During the holiday we also visited the restaurant a la carte. The service was very attentive and friendly, but the wait for the dishes to be served was quite long. At the same time, in our opinion, the dishes tasted inferior to those offered daily on the buffet table.
Overall, the food left a very good impression. Thanks to the variety of dishes, the quality of the products and the excellent work of the restaurant staff, this moment was one of the main advantages of our holiday. I would like to mention the grilled employees separately. Despite the heat and high workload, they always remained welcoming, prepared meals quickly and maintained order in the workplace. Their work really deserves special thanks.
The property is compact, well maintained and very green. Everything is arranged logically and is within walking distance. You can see that the grounds are regularly tended to: the lawn is neatly mowed, there was no debris anywhere.
There is one main swimming pool with two water slides, which operate on schedule. The pool water was clean and warm. We found free sunbeds at any time of the day, but more places in the shade would be welcome (umbrellas are clearly scarce). By the pool there are cold water showers, changing booths and toilets.
For outdoor enthusiasts, there are two tables for tennis and billiards next to the pool. They are in the shadows, so play comfortably even in the heat. There is also a spa on site which we did not use. Sometimes spa staff offered massages and other treatments.
The only thing we found uncomfortable was the beach towel exchange system. They are issued for two days at a time, and you can only exchange used towels in the evening. However, new ones are only issued the next morning. If you like to swim in the evening or early morning, you can go without fresh towels. In our view, this system should be made more convenient.
The hotel has everything you need: several pharmacies, a Migros supermarket, gift shops and small shops. During our trip to Migros, the rate was approximately $1 = 44 Turkish liras, so shopping there was more profitable than currency exchange at the hotel. We did not find full currency exchange offices in the settlement, but practically every gift shop was ready to exchange currency.
The village itself is entirely tourist-oriented. There are many shops, pharmacies and gift shops, but there are few interesting places to walk. Approximately 500 metres from the hotel is a wild beach that can be reached on foot. True, in the heat of July, such a walk can be quite exhausting.
The drive from the hotel to the beach takes about five minutes and follows a convenient path. The beach itself is pebbly, it is cleaned regularly, so throughout the rest it remained clean. The sunbeds are located almost by the water itself. Despite the hotel's high capacity, there were always seats available. However, as by the pool, more seats in the shade would be desirable. Umbrellas are small and spaced quite a bit apart, so it can be difficult to find a comfortable place in the shade during the hottest hours.
The entrance to the sea from the beach is not comfortable. There are many large pebbles and boulders near the shore, so without special shoes, it can be inconvenient to go into the water.
Fortunately, the hotel has several alternatives at once. You can use the bridge, which leads directly to the sea, or you can go down the stairs from the pier directly to the depths. In addition, to the right of the pier there is a cleared section of shore without large stones, where it is much more comfortable to enter the water.
During our holiday, the sea was very warm, clean and transparent. There were hardly any strong waves, so swimming was very nice. Sometimes garbage was washed up on the beach, which spoiled the impression a little, but it's more a feature of the current than of the beach itself.
The pier has a separate recreation area with sunbeds, and there have always been seats available. We didn't see any umbrellas on the pier, so there's also a lack of shade in the sunshine. A drinks bar and snack bar are available near the beach. There are cold water showers near the beach and warm showers can be used near the toilets.
Overall, the beach left a very good impression. Clean and transparent sea, comfortable pier and several water entry options made the holiday comfortable. From the wishes - I would like to see more shaded places and more convenient entry into the sea directly from the shore.
The team of animators was a real discovery for us and, without exaggeration, one of the main reasons why the holiday is remembered so vividly. Special thanks go to Anastasia, Alexandra and Erhan. It was they who set the mood for the whole vacation, knew how to engage guests in activities and maintained a friendly atmosphere.
The entertainment program started this morning. The day started with a recharge on the beach and yoga in the garden. Then there were games of bocci and darts, and after aqua aerobics in the pool. Despite the large number of participants, there was enough space for everyone and the classes were very fun.
After lunch, the program remained as busy as ever. There were classes in steppe aerobics, Zumba, air rifle shooting competitions, and darts.
In the evenings, there were vivid shows with guest artists, live music and competitions. All the events took place in a specially equipped area where everyone had enough seats. Each programme lasted about an hour and left a pleasant experience.
At the same time, evening entertainment did not interfere with leisure. The music in the room was hardly audible, so it was possible to sleep well after the program ended.
For us, animation has become one of the great strengths of this hotel. Thanks to the professional work of the team, the rest was really bright, active and memorable.
Overall, the service left a very nice impression. The reception was quick to respond to requests, while the restaurant staff quickly cleaned tables and ensured that guests were comfortable even during peak hours.
Of course, there were some organizational issues, such as repairing the air conditioning. Even in this situation, however, it was evident that staff were trying to help and resolve the problem as quickly as possible. It is the attitude of the staff that left us with one of the most pleasant experiences of this hotel.
Despite the obsolete room stock and some drawbacks, the main value of this hotel is the people who create a truly warm atmosphere here. The friendly staff, excellent animation team, delicious food and sincere attitude towards guests made our holiday truly enjoyable and memorable.
We recommend this hotel to those who appreciate the warm atmosphere, good service, active animation and delicious food more than the ideally new rooms.
Thanks to the entire hotel team for our vacation! We wish to see further development and hope that, in due course, small shortcomings will be addressed.
