A very disappointing stay — especially for our 10th wedding anniversary We arrived at Selectum Noah Belek hopeful, but were shown a room that felt substandard and very dated, like something out of the 1980s. The room also had a terrible sewage-like smell, which was unacceptable. The food throughout our stay has been very poor. We had a special dinner planned at the Turkish restaurant for our 10th wedding anniversary, but nobody told us it was closed because of bad weather. We understand that weather can affect arrangements, but the lack of communication spoiled what should have been a special evening. There was no evening entertainment during our stay, and we found the staff unfriendly. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Absolutely everything was terrible!!! Room cleanliness is a joke; we are still staying here, and no one has come by for three days—room 2614... From the start, we had no soap or shower gel... we only have three towels for a family with a small child... We arrived at 11 AM—three families, each with children aged one to two—and weren't checked in until 3 PM... not even at 2 PM, as would be normal—and the rooms were absolutely filthy! The beach was full of gravel and trash, and there were so many rocks in the water!!! I think the only positive thing is the "water pressure in the shower!!!"

⭐ Absolute disappointment – for us, never a 5-star hotel We are extremely disappointed with our stay at the Selectum Noa Belek. For us, it is absolutely incomprehensible how this hotel can be offered as a 5-star hotel. In our experience, the price and performance are completely out of proportion. The disappointment began upon arrival. No proper greeting, no warm welcome, and generally the feeling that the staff has little interest in the guests. When we had questions or concerns, we had the impression several times that no one really wanted to help. Friendliness and hospitality, which one would expect especially in a 5-star hotel, were clearly missing for us. The condition of the hotel is partly appalling. In our opinion, there is a significant need for renovation. We saw a lot of limescale and some spots that looked like mold or fungus to us. We were also not at all satisfied with the cleanliness. Although the bath towels were changed daily, the floor and the room were not cleaned thoroughly enough during our stay. A damaged elevator button was particularly shocking. It was so broken that you had to reach your finger into the opening to operate it. For an alleged 5-star hotel, something like this is absolutely unacceptable to us – see photo. The food was one of the biggest disappointments. It felt like the same thing every day, hardly any variety, and in terms of quality, it was far from what we expect from a 5-star all-inclusive hotel. Dishes were sometimes cold, and some of it seemed to us like food that had been reheated from the previous day. After several days, we really didn't enjoy going out to eat at all anymore. We would also not recommend this hotel to families with children. We found the entertainment and the shows to be boring and not very varied. We know other hotels in Turkey that offer families and children significantly more. We also experienced the animation team as partially unmotivated and unfriendly. And one should also take a close look at the description of the beach location: To get to the beach, you have to walk over a bridge. The beach area itself seemed unkempt and neglected to us. In addition, there was very loud music from the DJ, so there was little left of a relaxed beach atmosphere for us. The only truly positive thing for us is the generally beautiful and well-maintained hotel grounds. However, beautiful grounds alone do not make a 5-star hotel. Cleanliness, food, service, friendliness, room condition, and the overall vacation experience are also decisive – and that is exactly where the hotel disappointed us massively. We paid a lot of money for this vacation and would have expected a completely different standard for this price. If we had known beforehand what actually awaited us, we would never have booked this hotel. For us personally, the Selectum Noa Belek does not by any means correspond to the level that we associate with 5 stars. We even **found earwigs in the grout in the room**.
