One of the challenges when choosing a hotel in Antalya is that many properties are officially rated as 5-star hotels, but the actual experience often falls short of that standard. It's easy to end up disappointed.
Fortunately, Cornelia Diamond was a pleasant surprise. Considering that the resort was built around 20 years ago and has not undergone a major renovation, it has been exceptionally well maintained. Overall, I would rate it as a solid 4-star hotel by international standards, where you can genuinely have a wonderful vacation. The Cornie Kids Club, however, deserves a full 5-star rating and was one of the highlights of our stay and also the staff!
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.
Pros
* Plenty of staff throughout the resort, always available and helpful.
* Very clean throughout.
* The resort is exceptionally well maintained.
* The swimming pools are spotless.
* The water slides are clean and well looked after.
* Tasty food with a good variety.
* Cornie Kids Club was excellent.
* Teppanyaki restaurant was a highlight.
* Moulin Rose Bar had a great atmosphere.
* The Entertainment Team did an outstanding job.
* Delicious Turkish desserts.
* Beautiful gardens and lush vegetation.
* Bottled beer was a nice touch and of good quality.
Cons
* The rooms feel a bit outdated and could benefit from renovation.
* The tablecloths at the Dome Bar looked worn and detracted from the overall experience.
* The Dome Bar itself feels dated and could use a refresh.
* The wine and sparkling wine were disappointing and below the standard expected from a luxury all-inclusive resort.
* The pier bar, as well as the pier itself, looks old and in need of refurbishment.
* The soft drinks from the self-service dispensers were of poor quality.
* Fish house restaurant

We checked into the hotel with our family on July 3rd for six nights. Since we arrived carrying the fatigue of the entire year, I was frankly very afraid of encountering any hitches. This hotel is aware of why and under what circumstances we came here. And with its entire staff, too. To be honest, we are hard to please. We booked a swim-up room, and when we informed reception that the air conditioner fan might be faulty—since the room felt a bit stuffy upon our initial arrival—everything was resolved at lightning speed. There were no long faces; the staff member who arrived resolved the situation with genuine sincerity. There was never any problem or odor in the room. The cleaning was always thorough and excellent. It was always done on time. The minibar was always fully stocked and replenished on time. All the service staff are wonderful.
We always received friendly and sincere service. Especially the Kyrgyz staff—I have never seen anything like it. It was really great that they were so serious and disciplined about their work.
The hotel's chefs are incredibly good. The variety and quality of the food were incredible. It was constantly renewing itself. However, don't leave it too late for dinner, because it can get a bit crowded. We didn't wait in line for anything other than the sushi, but I think you should get there by eight o'clock at the latest.
Every evening, there was a knock on our door, and we were asked if we needed extra towels. Even this didn't cause the stress of having to use the same towel.
Also, nowhere in the hotel is crowded. Not only do you not have to queue up with a card to get your towels, but there’s also no need to save a spot or stress about it :)
Little surprises left in the room, details like bath foam and a toothbrush replenished daily... I could list so many other things.
Everything was beautiful, from the Bubble restaurant and the bar over the water to the lobby.
By the way, the massage, scrub and foam treatment, and spa complex are definitely worth trying :)
We really enjoyed it. I think we've found the place we need.
Everything—absolutely everything—was excellent. We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at our hotel ♥️

The main reason we came to this hotel was because of previous visits to Cornelia de lux, now sadly in different hands. There we met the beautiful ( inside and out) , warm and inclusive special Myroslava Ertem ; She is a fitness instructor and does dance and step classes and the best aqua aerobic classes I have ever done; she attracts a big following and speaks many languages. It’s glorious having women from all countries joining together to have such fun that only Myra can orchestrate !! She really is a treasure and I do hope the hotel realise her worth in bringing devoted fans back to her hotels ; I met a number of them during my holiday !!!!
This is a beautiful hotel and very large; we like to change our activity as the day progresses and to move around the resort and down to the pier and back for meals we were walking over 5 miles per day. Which is fine for us but less suited to less able people. The pools are utterly stunning. We didn’t have children but the children’s areas looked fantastic; would definitely consider bringing the grandchildren.
The food was good in the buffets but we preferred the à la carte restaurant. However £50 extra on the bill seemed a lot so we only used them 2x in our stay; the food is the same but the wine was better. On that note, the wine available in the buffet was very poor; I tried red, white and rose and all unpleasant. I stuck to beer which was fine but the main reason I marked the hotel down is the quality of the wine as I do like a nice glass of rose on holiday.
The staff were all delightful but many on the ground do not speak English and I’m sorry to say that my Turkish is minimal so that made it difficult at times to explain our needs at times.
