Starlight

This hotel was lovely, clean and spacious. The food was good what I couldn't understand at every meal you were served room temperature water is was 30 degrees most of the time. When we booked with Loveholidays I wish they had told us is was a Russian Hotel. The Russians were very boring as was the food they did not try to communicate with us. Not even the odd smile for this reason I was very disappointed with the Hotel. On another incident my son fell and hurt his knee late one night. By the time I had got to him the hotel had called an Ambulance. Seeing the situation I believed was all in hand I allowed the Ambulance to take my son to the hospital. The hospital was please that I had medical insurance for my son. They X-Ray his leg and gave him a MRI. In the meantime I eventually got hold of my medical insurance team. Only to be told that we are not covered by Private Hospital in the meantime the hospital had told me my son had damaged his ligament. There is alot more to the story. It turns out I was in a tourist trap. The Starlight Hotel had a doctor on site that belonged to the private hospital you are not told or given the choice. It is only when you get the bill i.e bandage 30 Euro's, journey to the hospital 75 Euro's. one Paracetol 112 Euro's. MRI 750 Euro's etc.... Total 1,550 Euro's. They billed me for every little transaction they did. To cut a Long story short the Doctor on site has a financial interest in you and not your welfare. My son left this hospital with just a bandage on his knee which fell off. When we eventually got back to the UK to a UK hospital. My son had actually broken his leg. No need to say that I will be taking this matter further. How could they get something so basic wrong (malpractice). I come to the conclusion that their wasn't any point having travel insurance. You don't actually get any help from them you do all the research it took them it took two full days the day we were due to fly out before we had any positive feed back from them. Having Travel Insurance was a pointless excercise. Not a place for the English
