I don't even know where to start. We booked Bieno Venüs Hotel based on good online reviews, but it turned out to be a massive disappointment and pure false advertising. The hotel claims to be a 4-star resort, but the reality is completely different. It is a mystery how they received good reviews (funnily enough, the physical guestbook at the entrance is packed with bad reviews). Here is the truth about the hotel: Children’s Facilities and Entertainment: Miniclub: Closed and shut down for the entire week of our stay. Dangerous Water Slide: Only open twice a day for 1 hour. The stairs leading up are completely rusted through and broken, making it unsafe for both children and adults. The stage behind the kids' pool is an absolute crumbling ruin. Mini Disco was a joke: Just a man dancing without enthusiasm or light shows. The sound level was dangerously loud (exceeding 98 dB)—so loud that the children felt unsafe and didn't want to participate. Schedule times were ignored; it was supposed to start at 20:30, but often started much later without any notice to waiting children. Unacceptable behavior towards children: A little girl became shy/upset during the mini disco and went to her mother. The entertainer openly mocked the child in front of everyone by making crying sounds and gestures. Extremely unprofessional. Food, Drinks, and Terrible "All-Inclusive": Repetitive recycled buffet: The food is identical every single day. It feels like leftovers from breakfast are recycled for lunch and then dinner—either reheated or served from the same dishes. It is usually dry, hard, or completely inedible. If you are vegetarian, there is barely anything to eat. False advertising in brochures: The brochure promises Turkish pizza, sandwiches, etc., for lunch. The reality was the exact same cheap DIY burgers, nuggets, and French fries every single day. Not even scrambled eggs or pancakes for breakfast. Fruit selection: Basic fruits like bananas or apples are missing. Only the exact same selection every day: cherries, peaches/plums, orange slices, and melon. Poor quality & restricted drinks: Soda from the machine is warm, completely flat, and tastes like syrup mixed with water (no real Cola or Fanta). Despite having "All-Inclusive", you are denied even 1-2 cl extra gin in a Gin & Tonic. Hidden extra costs: The bar and ice cream require cash payments—something they do not inform you about anywhere. If you don't carry cash, you're out of luck. Ice cream costs €2 for a tiny walnut-sized scoop in a stale mini paper cone. Hygiene and Cleanliness: Dirty Pool Area: Leftover cake pieces were sitting at the bottom of the pool from the day before. The pool area is never cleaned up—empty glasses, paper plates, and food scraps are scattered everywhere, attracting animals. Stray Cats and Odors: Cats everywhere—including inside the dining room, leaving cat hair on the dining tables. There is a strong smell of sewage in several areas. In the evenings, the entire staircase stank of cat feces/toilet, and one night the smell on our balcony was so unbearable we couldn't stay outside. Service and Staff: Rude Management: During breakfast, one of the hotel managers helped himself to the buffet and used the toast machine to make his own sandwich, forcing paying guests to wait for him. This happened multiple times in the buffet area as well. Language Barrier: 90% of the staff speak neither English nor German. Even at the front desk, they cannot understand basic requests. Aggressive Sales Pitch in Spa: When picking up towels in the spa area, you are cornered by aggressive staff trying to sell peeling and massage sessions, making it difficult to get away. Rooms and Noise: The sliding door to the balcony was broken and stayed open 24/7. Safe usage in the room costs extra. Wi-Fi is so painfully slow it's unusable. Rooms facing the pool get zero peace or sleep due to blaring music from the pool and neighboring areas late into the night. This hotel is nowhere near 4 stars. Stay far away!

Relaxed at the Hotel Bieno Venus and were generally satisfied. The area is very cozy, green and well maintained, the sandy beach is only a few minutes away on foot. The rooms are comfortable, have everything you need to relax, the staff are polite and always try to help. The food is quite varied: every day there is meat, fish, vegetables, fruit and desserts. Of course, the dishes sometimes repeat themselves, but surely no one will be left hungry. There are several swimming pools on the property, including slides, which will be especially enjoyed by families with children. Overall, the Bieno Venus is a good value for money option. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday near the sea, with beautiful grounds and a friendly atmosphere, this hotel can safely be recommended.
