I absolutely do not recommend it; it was the biggest mistake of my life to come to this hotel. Anyone with sense shouldn't come here. The rooms are incredibly dirty, the food is terrible, and the breakfast is awful. Anyone with sense shouldn't come here.

1 star – Unfortunately the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked this hotel exclusively because I was participating in an externally organized yoga camp. The yoga camp itself was excellently organized and a really great experience – I would participate in it again at any time. However, the organization had nothing to do with the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel in particular overshadowed the entire stay. We even arrived a day early to arrive in a relaxed manner. Unfortunately, the stay began with a major disappointment. The first room was located at the very top of the facility. In the summer heat, we had to climb countless stairs. The room was extremely small – there was hardly any space even for our luggage. The bathroom was also tiny and already infested with mold. After my complaint, we received another room that was closer to the restaurant. Unfortunately, this one was even worse. It was also very small, damp everywhere, and heavily infested with mold. The air was so bad that we developed breathing problems. The room door was defective and had to be repaired. At first, there was no hand soap either – instead, liquid soap in a plastic bottle was placed in front of our door. After a second complaint, we received a third room. Although this one was somewhat larger, it was also in an unacceptable condition. In the bathroom, there was mold again, the walls were damaged, cables were hanging out of the wall, and the curtains were dirty and partially broken. Overall, the room made an unkempt and unhygienic impression. During our entire five-day stay, our room was not cleaned a single time, even though we had explicitly requested it. Unfortunately, the poor impression continued in the general areas of the hotel as well. At the beach, the loungers and deck chairs were mostly dirty, partially broken, and overall very unkempt. The lounges, which could be used for a minimum consumption of 80 euros, were also not an alternative – the cushions were so dirty that one would hardly want to sit on them. The restaurant also by no means met the standard that one can expect. The tables were often only cleaned superficially or not at all. The cutlery lay openly in baskets, into which all guests had to reach at the same time – that was not hygienic. Overall, the buffet was disappointing. The selection was small and was insufficiently replenished. Already about 30 minutes after the start of dinner, there was often neither fish nor meat, even though the mealtime was far from over. There was also an unpleasant surprise at the beach: Every afternoon, tea and cake were offered without pointing out that this was subject to a charge. I would particularly like to highlight the staff. All employees were friendly, polite, and eager to find a solution. Unfortunately, they had no decision-making authority whatsoever and had to contact the hotel management for every little thing. From my point of view, the actual problem was clearly the management. In the end, I spoke with the hotel management personally. Instead of showing understanding, it was explained to me that mold and dampness are normal due to the proximity to the sea. I consider this statement completely unacceptable. I have stayed in many hotels right by the sea before and have never experienced such poor hygienic conditions. The only positive point is the beautiful location right by the sea. The water and the view are dreamlike. Unfortunately, that is by no means enough to compensate for the serious shortcomings of the hotel. The pictures and videos on social media convey a completely different impression. The villas may be nice, but the standard hotel rooms in no way correspond to the standard depicted. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. Anyone who values cleanliness, hygiene, healthy rooms, and professional management should look for other accommodations. The yoga camp, on the other hand, was excellent and explicitly deserves a positive review – it's a shame that it had to take place in a hotel in such poor condition.

I participated in a yoga camp at the Hotel Club Barbarossa in Kaş and had deliberately arrived a day early to start the week in a relaxed manner. Unfortunately, the stay was neither relaxing nor pleasant. First, it is important for me to emphasize: The staff is extremely accommodating and makes a great effort. The employees are not to blame for the condition and organization of the hotel—my criticism is directed explicitly at the hotel management. The first room was far away from the restaurant and beach and was clearly too small for two people; there wasn't even room for our luggage. We asked for a larger room closer to the center of the complex and were allowed to switch—however, into a room with mold on the walls, on the bed linens, and in the bathroom. The humidity was so high that it was difficult to breathe. Additionally, the patio door was broken and first had to be repaired. There was no hand soap available; upon our request, soap was filled into a PET water bottle and placed in front of our door. In response to our complaint, we were told that humidity is normal by the sea. I have often stayed in hotels right by the sea and have never experienced such conditions. Because the room was simply uninhabitable, we had to change again in the middle of the night. It took three attempts to do so: The reception is staffed exclusively by very young personnel with no decision-making authority; only on the third attempt was the manager called. The third room was also larger, but was likewise affected by mold, the curtains kept falling down, and there were holes in the walls through which cables led outside. Although we had hung up the corresponding sign, the room was not cleaned a single time during our entire stay. The food was also unsatisfactory. The tables in the restaurant were rarely cleaned, and the food was frequently insufficient: At the grill, it was regularly said just 30 minutes after the start of dinner time that fish and meat were out. All the lounge chairs on the beach were old, dirty, and unkempt. For the covered beach lounges, a minimum spend of 80 euros per day is required—with cushions and furniture in a condition that in no way justifies this price. In addition, there are non-transparent additional costs: Every afternoon, service staff walked through the facility with pastries, cake, and tea and asked if one would like some. It was charged every time anyway. Such an offer should be clearly declared as subject to a charge from the beginning. I find it particularly annoying that the external presentation on social media has almost nothing to do with reality. Practically only the villas that actually look nice are shown – the condition of the remaining rooms and the facility is consistently hidden. Anyone who books based on these pictures will be massively disappointed on site. Attached are pictures of the "nice room" according to the boss's statement. When it comes to a lack of cleanliness and mold, my understanding ends – especially when concerns are not taken seriously and excuses are sought instead. The yoga camp itself was a very nice experience, and I would participate again at any time – but not at this hotel. I cannot recommend it.
