Patara Viewpoint

This small family run hotel is an absolute gem of a place. After spending time in Kalkan over many years we were tired of the constant loud music everywhere and were looking for somewhere completely different. We found it! The hotel is above the village of Gelemis and affords views over the surrounding countryside and the sea in the distance. Rooms are small and basic but spotlessly clean,and a big bonus for us no TV's in the rooms. The silence and peacefulness is difficult to describe, if you want to completely unwind this hotel will fit the bill. The owners Anne Louise and Muzaffer have a wealth of information about the surrounding area and further afield . There are plenty of trips which they can arrange and will also transport you to Patara beach which is about 2 miles away. If you are looking for a hotel with lots of bling, hundreds of guests and constant activities Patara Viewpoint is not for you. However if you are looking for peace and tranquility in a village that hasn't changed much over time and is unaffected by mass tourism, this is the place to book. We have been left with some very fond memories and will find this sort of personal hospitality hard to beat. Mary & Geoff

Just a very special place, with hosts who can’t do enough to make you welcome and comfortable! The views, the local village and the places you can visit in the local area make this somewhere definitely worth a visit! (not to mention the breakfast! 👀☺️)

A lovely boutique rustic hotel - very very personable and accommodating owners and staff - nothing too much trouble at all. Very quiet location - 10 minute walk from Patara village and transport provided to the amazing Patara Beach - this a free service and includes pick up. The food on offer was exceptionally good and great value - all in all a great find and a lovely holiday within a holiday. Anne Louise and Mustaffa so welcoming. 11/10
