Hotel staff all very friendly & happy to help. Clean & functional, basic but did not pay for 5* so did not expect it. The 05:45 call to prayer each morning took some getting used to & no hot water in a morning which was never sorted despite asking several times, evening showers were no problem. Food was ok, as a vegetarian there was always salad & vegetables. Overall, a basic hotel, good base to travel around, clean with friendly, helpful staff

Solo woman traveller and hotel have helped me with everything so far. Lovely warm family hotel. Reception greet you and carry your luggage. Rooms are outdated but they are clean and the bed is very comfortable.Food is traditional Turkish and so far everything is delicious. Do not listen to petty comments - I’ve paid very little for this and I’ve received excellent service from the minute I arrived.

So we arrived at 6pm to the hotel and just wanted to dive in into swimming pool as we were very hot after our 12 hours journey. We were told that pool closes at 7pm and straight away I got very grouchy. Didn't help that we had to pay for the WiFi which didn't work in our room and we were told that just one person can use WiFi at the time. The area oround the hotel is not very pleasant. I was not happy at all and actually had to apologise to the kids for the poor choice of hotel and for pretty much ruined holiday. So we had food( which was surprisingly nice) and went to the beach to swim in a very warm night sea. Next day, after we had rest, it got a lot better. Food was very nice, a lot of choices and regardless how fussy you are, you can find what to eat. Swimming pool is big and clean, drinks served with no issue( someone mentioned here that drinks were watered down... NOT TRUE), WiFi is free by the pool for everyone, staff very friendly and helpful, room maybe a bit small but you only need it to go to bed. Public beach is 10 min away, people are very nice and friendly everywhere. Prices at the local shops are very cheap. As we were told if you see prices in euros pay in euros and if in TL pay in TL. So its very handy to have both currencies. You can enjoy different trips. We went to quad biking and rafting and it was awesome. And there is no difference which country you are from, you are treated with respect. I am russian and the rest of my family are english and we had no issue with communication. The fact that you can smoke everywhere you want maybe not very good thing, especially with kids around, but it gave me sence of freedom. All in all it was a great holiday and all 4 of us enjoyed it very much. I personally felt very welcome. We would definitely return to this hotel. Thank you Angora hotel staff for a lovely holiday❤
