Barut Arum

I’ve never written a review for a holiday before, but feel I have to for our stay at Arum Barut Collection. 7th time in Side since 2022, staying at various hotels, but Arum Barut is without doubt the best hotel we’ve stayed at yet. (2 Adults 1 child (6 Y/O) Cleanliness, bar staff (Mustafa, Jmat, Ali Kemal) waiters, cleaners, gardeners, guest relations, food choice, drinks choice, entertainment, al a Carte, location, pools, beach pier, slides, animation team, restaurants, and bars, all outstanding from start to finish. My typical british attitude will have me searching for something to complain about, but the truth is we couldn’t find a single thing to complain about, in fact, I do have one complaint, and it’s that at check out, nobody tried to convince us to stay an extra week, because we probably would have done 😆 Will definitely be booking again for next year!

Just coming to the end of our 8-day stay at this lovely hotel, which is only a short bus ride from the historic sights at Side. We had a double room in the main building, with a great view of the sea and pools. The decor everywhere is fresh, modern, clean and beautifully maintained. We really enjoyed the evening shows, live music at the pool bar and especially the foam party! The variety and quality of the food is most impressive, and the staff have all been so friendly and attentive that we wish we could name them all - but special shout-outs to Derya (Guest Relations), Amber (for finding the sundress), Hulya (eggs & pancakes), the waiters in the Akasya restaurant and the maids who made up our room so nicely every day (1568). We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Arum Barat - everything has been just great.

We are currently staying at Arum Barut Collection, and I wanted to update my review because the service here has genuinely been exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and very well maintained. What I particularly love is how spacious and relaxed it feels — even when the hotel is busy, it never feels overcrowded. The food has been excellent, with plenty of choice and consistently good quality, and the drinks are also of a very high standard. However, the biggest highlight for us has definitely been the service. The staff are absolutely fantastic — attentive, professional, friendly and genuinely welcoming. Nothing seems too much trouble, and the level of service throughout the hotel is exceptional. It really makes a difference to the whole holiday experience. The evening entertainment is actually good and we have enjoyed it. My only criticism would be the daytime atmosphere around the pool. It is very quiet, with very little music or entertainment, and I personally would love a little more energy and atmosphere during the day. Overall, though, Arum Barut has really impressed us. The combination of outstanding service, excellent food and drinks, cleanliness, space and overall quality makes it a fantastic hotel. The longer we stay, the more we appreciate it, and we would definitely return. ❤️
