Great comfortable rooms all facing the sea and good quality a/c. Great food options and anyone who cannot find something to eat needs to look at themselves we loved all the themed nights ie Turkish night, sea food, East Asian, Italian nights and more. There’s always options food wise. We found the entertainment very good and especially enjoyed the Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston nights, there was a pink tribute who was an excellent singer but I didn’t really know pinks songs. On top of the main stage acts there’s a live band on in the outside bar who were also very good for me the ildivo act was brilliant and hopefully on when we return, The staff are mostly brilliant with just a few that struggle smiling or acknowledging people, Durgal in the breakfast and lunch bar stood out as did many many others but I can’t remember their names, good to see Metin and Ennes again. The staff at reception are very helpful and polite with a smile and always there for us day and night to get cabs or advise on some issues outside of the hotel. We stayed up at the pool this year as the drinks guy is another excellent staff member water and cold coffee stuff at 10 and drinks through the day in all that heat. Finally the entertainment manager and the big boss are both approachable and friendly and a true professional leaders to their staff. We can’t wait to get back

You arrive stressed from work and school and cannot help but leave relaxed after being looked after so well in beautiful surroundings. The hotel is spotless, the food delicious with plenty to chose from. My mum is celiac and has eaten like royalty this week. We have been before and love coming back as the staff are so kind and welcoming. My daughter (now 10) adors the place. This year both my mum and I visited the spa, which is exceptional. I had personalized massages (lumphatic drainage, reflexology and hot stones) with the male massuse - just superb. And mum and I both had facials, felt wonderful after and all worth every single penny. Cannot recommend enough. We also had a family visit to the hairdressers, for cuts, blow dries, manacures and my mum had mircoblading. All again fantastic and highly recommended. Even got my husband along for some beard grooming and a hair cut. All so friendly and a great experience all round. I defy anyone not to have a wonderful holiday here. If you are in doubt, book it and make some time for the spa!

We have just returned from our first stay at Akra Sorgun, (2 adults and a 10 year old), after having stayed at Akra Fethiye last year. It’s difficult to not compare the two as the bar was set high last year. Our room was a 2 bedroom family swim up, immaculately clean. If you didn’t have a clean on one of the days you get a 10% discount on a cabana which was really nice. Small issue on day 1 with the door - nail hanging out of it, but maintenance quickly came to address it Rooms are super comfortable, fridge restocked daily. On our anniversary they also left a bottle of wine and some sweet treats- very sweet of them- thankyou - presumably the cleaning lady had seen our cards up. Loved the swim up- really worth it for us and the staff did keep coming over to ask if we wanted a drink- that’s really great, they didn’t do that at Fethiye. I noticed them walking the main pool round with iced coffee too in a morning - that’s great for parents especially The grounds are spotless and although smaller than Fethiye it didn’t feel overcrowded. I actually preferred the layout to Fethiye and our son kept taking himself off to the kids playground - again to me far better than Akra fethiyes. The mini golf is a great addition and the games room What I did notice and love is how well the cats are taken care of. I know not everyone likes them hanging around but it’s great to see them so well looked after - Fethiye doesn’t do that.. The food- I have to say gala night was impressive - again, way better than Fethiye- and the show cooking/themes - I think the standard is really high. Same in the à la cartes- we ate at the olive and the ocean and the bbq. Had no trouble getting a table- we could have done saffron too but our son probably wouldn’t have eaten much. We did have the prime booked for our last night but cancelled it in favour of the seafood night buffet which was lovely Only slight downside where Fethiye is a little better is breakfast- there was alot more choice at Fethiye but that’s just a small niggle. Also the restaurants are so inclusive- our son is autistic and food can be a bit tricky sometimes- they were happy to adapt his meal eg no sauce or changed risotto to fries - they even made him his own starter of cucumber and tomato in the ocean- thankyou for this The staff are the hotels huge asset- they’re great. All of them. Especially the man that looked after cabana 15 on 4th July- I can’t remember his name I’m sure it was Erik/erim? He was outstanding. The cabana had been decorated for us. He introduced himself, told us how everything worked he was just exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He’s great! He definitely deserves recognition so if you can look up the booking and make sure he knows he’s really appreciated We had a second cabana on 7th July with a different man.. it wasn’t quite the same service is all I can say.. We had our photographs done too- the effort they put in to the pictures is outstanding- we had pictures done last year but they weren’t half as good The only downside with them is the packages- we have no interest in canvas or books we just want digital copies and it’s crazy they don’t like to do that. We paid £200 in the end for 43 digital pictures but it took some time to get there- I was happy to just walk away with 8 individual digital copies. It would be much better to just pay for the photographers time - and have the digital copies personally- everyone in the uk uses free prints etc nowadays and we can get free canvas. That’s my only niggle. We had a trip out into side using a taxi, and we did a buggy excursion which was well worth it. We didn’t use the kids club our son is a bit old but he loved the archery, (the instructor is fantastic!) But the evening kids show the little ones looked to be having a great time! We did stay for quiz storm and a couple of the evening shows but we preferred the lobby bar it’s so relaxed and the live music is really easy to listen to. We had a genuinely nice time and regret not booking a longer stay.
