A super vacation unfortunately ended yesterday 😅 We had 15 wonderful days with you ❤️ I got to meet so many lovely people ❤️ Mali, my favorite entertainer ☺️ I can only recommend playing darts with him. Thank you very much for 15 days of unforgettable vacation ❤️ A big thank you to all the waiters, cooks, bakers, room attendants, and all the staff at the Defne Star Hotel ❤️ The food was simply top-notch again 😋 We are already looking forward to our next vacation with you at Defne Star ❤️ Thank you very much. Great vacation with my daughter. Everything you need to feel comfortable is there. Good food, nice pool. Great entertainment, especially for children. Only the beach is terrible. It looks so great in the pictures. Thousands of loungers. The water is simply dirty. I know Greece very differently. Whatever. We mainly stayed by the pool.

We are always happy to be guests at this hotel. Starting from check-in, the staff at the reception makes you feel "Welcome." They always have a smile for every guest and assist with problems or special requests. The luggage is brought to your room. Thank you to the reception. You are great, and please stay that way. 🫠 The hotel grounds are very beautiful and well-maintained. And there is a spacious pool not far from the sea. There is also a pool section for the youngest guests. Near the pool, there is a bar with plenty of seating. Here, you can comfortably enjoy coffee or similar drinks. Events take place there in the evenings except for Sunday. The children's program always comes first, followed by the adult program. The rooms may not be the latest in design, but they are decorated in friendly colors and kept clean thanks to the diligent cleaning staff. There are two towels available for use at the pool or the sea. The white towels are reserved exclusively for use in the room and are changed daily except on Thursdays. The bathroom consists of a sink, an oversized mirror, a hairdryer, and a spacious shower. Of course, there is also a toilet. The size is more than sufficient unless one wants to spend the vacation in bed. There is also enough storage space for personal belongings, as well as a small refrigerator (water is included) and a television. The only small drawback I have is the pillows; they are too flat and cannot be squished. Otherwise, the bed is fine for us. A big thank you to the cleaning staff, to whom we owe the clean room, clean bathroom, and clean balcony. Now, let's move on to the culinary part. The dining area is divided into the interior or the terrace. Many naturally want to have breakfast or dinner on the terrace because it offers a nice view of the pool, bar, or even a bit of the sea. As for the food offerings, I can only say that anyone who goes to bed hungry has only themselves to blame. Certainly, the food offerings may repeat, but I am convinced that one can find something to eat every day due to the abundance. Some items are also from the realm of Turkish specialties. So, anyone who really cannot find anything and has complaints cannot be helped. In this case, our thanks go to the kitchen staff and chefs. But what would dinner or even breakfast be without the service staff? They strive to meet the needs of every guest. They are all very friendly and helpful. They set the tables anew every day after each meal. We would like to extend a special thanks to Mehmet Ali Yilmaz, who still remembered what drinks we wanted for dinner even after 8 months since our last visit. And also for the beautifully set table, even though it always means a farewell. We were really very happy and hope to have you as our waiter again on our next visit.😘🥰 What else might be of interest? Wi-Fi is included in the price, as are cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks. For half board, drinks are free until midnight; after that, payment is required. However, I must say regarding the cocktails, there is still room for improvement. Do not expect the taste to be like in Germany. There is still practice needed here. Otherwise, I can only say that anyone who booked a sea view, even if it is just sideways towards the pool, has a super beautiful view all the way to the old town of Side. The beach promenade is also recommended; you can easily reach Side from there. It is simply breathtakingly beautiful. Of course, for those who are not very mobile, they can go to the main road in front of the hotel and take a dolmuş directly from there to, for example, Side. The connection is really great. I do have a mango. We were guests at this hotel for 10 days in May, and there were two days that felt very strange for us. The staff was very distant towards the guests, which is not usually the case. We also learned the reason for the strange behavior. They were being monitored by the management. We find it very unfortunate that the staff has to act differently when the boss is around. It is very important for the guest to have a good relationship with the staff. Problems or requests can be addressed directly. And one thing the top management should not forget is that if the guest feels comfortable and the staff enjoys their work, it is good for the hotel and the guests will want to return. But those two days do not deter us from wanting to stay at this hotel again soon. A big thank you to everyone who ensures that we can enjoy a relaxing and beautiful vacation every day.
