Sensimar Side Resort & Spa

First of all i would like to give my recommendations about four of the employees at the hotel. The bartender at the pool, one of the Tui Guides that’s always happy, singing and always making sure you are good, as well as two of the servers in the restaurant (I’m sorry I don’t remember your names). Yet, this does not make up for the harassing and discriminating behavior we have experienced as Scandinavians. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL if you are not German, Russian or British! From day one our girlfriends were held back in our room when they were in there alone while changing by the housekeeping-staff, demanding tips and taking their phones so they could get a review on their services. This is unacceptable. Further more, it is supposed to be “all inclusive”, however they have not stocked up on sodas or water in the rooms, nor towels for shower. Complained four times before anything happened before five days had gone. Extortion by housekeeping in your room while you are there alone is surprisingly not considered by the hotel as anything to care about. The staff is talking German to everyone, and the second you respond in English (we are Scandinavians so German is not our first, nor second or third language) you must expect to be treated differently. Servers at dinner were just rolling their eyes at us, not giving us service at all, while with the Germans, British or Russians, they are the friendliest. The worst experience we had was when one of the people who is supposed to be in the “Guest Relations”-team, screamed at us by the pool as she had heard from other guests that we occupied sunbeds at did not use them all day, while the fact was that we were there all day. After yelling at us and smiling and literally having the worst behavior as customers, she went and “high-fived” and cheered with other guests that have complained. This also made us feel extremely not welcome and discriminated against. This is sad because the hotel is beautiful, the amenities are good and food is okay +. Not enough lounges by the pool. This could one day result in massive conflict as the British and Germans are fighting over them so they could lay there pale and drunk “enjoying their vacation”, while destroying the holiday for people from other countries. As a Norwegian, I feel sad for everyone from countries other than Germany or Britain that want to visit here. If you come, prepare to be treated as a s*** and have your vacation ruined. They are not open for a discussion or dialogue what so ever. The rules applies for everyone, however they do not apply if you are German or British, because then you can do as you please. My impression of these nationalities are very poor after this vacation, and I would never want to visit these countries anymore after I’ve experienced their behavior. Bad people that give a very bad representation to their sad countries. Prepare to be yelled at and humiliated in front of the other guests at the hotel. Worst vacation I’ve ever had, I feel sorry for everyone I encountered during this “holiday”.

We come back to this hotel year after year because we love it so much and we’re never disappointed. It’s the best hotel in Turkey. the service is exceptional and we’re treated like old friends everytime. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food is delicious and the beach is lovely. The whole holiday is so relaxing. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Our dear friend Ali Sun is our favourite person. He always goes out of his way to make us feel like friends of the hotel and makes our holiday so spectacular. Everyone here is great and there are too many people to mention but we enjoy seeing our friend Baki everytime, he makes the BEST cocktails. Fatima Kaya is so lovely and lastly Mustaffa in the restaurant is such a kind man who gives excellent service. Everyone should be commended! We’re looking forward to returning soon for another wonderful holiday 👍

The Hotel is full of employees and visitors with bad mood and judgements against some countries. If you are scandinavian or something else then German, you should expect different treatment. If you go here it’s on your own responsibility. The worst hotel I’ve visited in Turkey by far. This was not a holiday, this was defininitely a war!
