My friends, family and I stayed at this hotel for 14nights earlier this month and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
Rooms:
We stayed in a Family suite with balcony which was in block 3 room 3135 and just looked out to the slides and was very close to the main building and pools.
The room consisted of 2 bedrooms, a twin with 2 single beds and a separate room with a large comfortable double bed which led out to the balcony.
We had a mini fridge in the room which was replenished daily with water, however no coffee or tea as you had to rent a kettle or coffee machine.
The cleaners cleaned our rooms perfectly and changed our towels regularly, always leaving a little towel animal or flowers on the bed! Thank you! 😊
Pools:
The pool for us was the main attraction as from the pictures it looks like many separate pools, however it was actually one large lagoon pool sectioned off with barriers to keep the shallow water for the small kids – it was amazing and nice and warm!
The only thing was that people kept letting their kids go into the pirate ship pool with no nappy on ending in them pooing in the pool, which led to the pool having to be closed off for a couple of hours. Not the whole pool, just that one section thankfully!
The bed situation at the pool is basically, if you want a prime spot right by the pool side, then be prepared to get up and be on your bed at 6.30am ish. We got up and were down at the pool by 6.30am every morning and got the spots we wanted, however if you are a beach lover, then you will have no problems at all!
Beach:
The beach is lovely, a little shingly when the tide is in, however in the afternoon when the tide is out, once you get over the stones, the sand is soft and the water is lovely!
The beach bar plays the best chill out music and is where we spent a couple of afternoons for the last hour or so before the bar closed for cleaning at 6pm.
Restaurants:
There is the main buffet restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and honestly anyone complaining about the food need to give themselves a shake as we all always found the food to be delicious and plenty of choices to suit all tastes!
There were salads, cheeses, cold meats, cooked meat station, fish station, pizza station, kids corner serving nuggets, fries, onion rings etc. The had a huge selection of deserts, fruits, breads – and much more which I have not mentioned!
They had themed nights which were really good, like Turkish, Asian, Italian etc…. every night being as good as the last! We never struggled, the only thing I struggled with was my waistband being too tight after every meal!!
The staff in the restaurants were so friendly and always there to help whenever they could! One person who stood out in particular to us was Hekim who served us well during lunch and dinner – thank you for always smiling and being so helpful Hekim! 😊
We ate in the Asian restaurant which was delicious and worth a visit and also the Italian which was our favorite!! Just one word of warning, be prepared to leave the restaurant stuffed as there are 5 courses and everyone is delicious!!!
Snacks:
If you were hungry out with restaurant opening times, there was a potato truck down at the beach where you could get chips and also an ice cream parlor which came in very handy most days for the kids!
Daytime entertainment:
The daytime entertainment around the big activity pool was ok, music and a couple of games more focused towards older kids/ adults, water polo, in water spin cycle, aqua aerobics etc… What we did miss from staying at many other 4/5* hotels in Turkey was pool games for younger kids, like an inflatable run/ assault course in pool, or games on a surf board etc… The younger kids had no pool activities as far as I seen.
For the very young kids, they had a mini disco in the pool one day at the Pirate ship pool which was great fun for them, the entertainment team really worked hard!
Outside of the pool, there were activities like darts, archery, table tenis, volleyball and football which our kids loved!! There were arranged football matches daily in the afternoon and at night which was a god send for our boys!
If you fancied taking an aerobics class or Latin dance class, the beautiful Mariana was there to help! Although we did not participate, we did watch Mariana take a class and it looked fun!! Hi Marianna!! 😊
Once a week, the hotel had a foam party in the gardens which was so much fun! There were dancers and lots and lots of foam! The kids and adults both loved it!
Also once a week there was family day where there were assault courses and games for the kids to play and then the parents got involved too, so that was fun!
Evening entertainment:
The evening entertainment was great! After dinner we would take the smaller kids over to the amphitheater for the mini disco which ran from 8.30pm – 9.30pm, we would then keep our seats and sit on to watch the main show which was on from 9.30pm – 10.30pm. The shows were really good, the best one being the Michael Jackson show which pulled in a huge crowd and was amazing!!
A big shout out to Abdulkadir Erbey who served us the best cocktails every night – the Kadir special had our whole group going, so a massive thanks to you Abdulkadir! 😊
Not forgetting Sukrullah who would never allow me to lift a chair or move a table without insisting that he get it for us and as soon as he seen us coming, he would rush to put tables in our “usual” spot which we appreciated very much! Thank you Sukrullah! 😊
Once the show finished at 10.30pm, we would walk over to the Island bar for the live singer who was on from 9.30pm – 11pm ish to catch the last of their set, unless it was Lewis who was on, then we would miss the show at the amphitheater and head straight to the Island Bar as what a show Lewis put on! He is quite the entertainer getting everyone up to dance and sing along with him, it was an absolute vibe!! Well done Lewis, we loved your sets! 😊
There is also the Long John Silver Bar serving drinks and a big shout out Fatma who makes the best Kiwi daiquiri`s along with many other amazing drinks and is always smiling! Thanks Fatma! 😊
After the singer at the Island bar, we would head upstairs to the Horiscopia bar which was open until 1am for some pre-bed drinks and a wind down from a busy and fun day where we would be met by the smiley Buse who always made us the best cocktails and was great with the kids who loved the hot chocolate! Thank you Buse!! 😊
If you fancied a dance, the disco was open down at the beach from 11.30pm until 1am i`m sure, however we only went one night for 1 drink to see what it was all about. The music was on point and all inclusive drinks served until 1am.
One person we need to mention is Kadir who seemed to work EVERYWHERE lol! He was there in the Morning, Afternoon and night right through until 1am! Making us drinks, helping us carry drinks to our tables, sorting seating out for us when it was really busy with there being so many of us, Kadir really went way above and beyond and we really appreciated it! We also had a good bit of banter about the football during the World cup, he really had a good laugh with us all! Thanks for everything Kadir and sorry Messe lost the World cup lol!!
Another shout out to Ibrahim at reception who helped a members our party out on a couple of occasions, nothing was too much bother and was always up for a wee chat!! 😊
All in all, we were a group of 16 ranging from 5yrs to 47yrs old and we all had an absolute blast, so if you are thinking about going to this hotel – go, you won`t regret it!

1) First of all, after reading the reviews, I've lost faith in consumer reviews.
The reviews are clearly exaggerated and in favor of the hotel.
2) This is the first time I've ever seen a hotel with such a strong smell of oil.
3) Guys, what are cookies? How can a hotel not have snacks?
4) Ladies, or gentlemen traveling with their wives, bring your own hair conditioner; there isn't even any in the rooms.
5) You ask for wet wipes at the restaurant, but they don't have any.
6) The rooms were converted from state guesthouses.
7) The chlorine smell from the indoor pool downstairs has transformed into a heavy, damp smell in the hotel's indoor areas.
8) This hotel is suitable for those who absolutely insist on having an aqua park.
9) People try to shake off the fatigue of the whole year during their 3-5 day vacations. Please ensure that the people who have worked so hard to get here respect your efforts as well.
It's not pleasant to write this, but it's my civic duty.
I'll be here for another 2-3 days, and if I feel I've wronged anyone, rest assured I'll write again.

This hotel is dedicated to pure tourist fraud! My wife bought a packet of wet wipes and two pieces of gum, and was charged a whopping 600 SEK for this.
No price indication: There are absolutely no prices on the goods, which is obviously used as a tactic to rob guests of money afterwards.
Zero customer service: When we pointed this out to the hotel, they refused to take any responsibility whatsoever. Hiding behind "we can't do anything" when charging £60 for three small things is beneath contempt for a hotel that claims to be of a certain standard.
It's not about the money itself, it's about the principle and the total lack of respect for its guests. If you absolutely must stay here, make sure never to buy anything in their stores or take anything that does not have a clear, written price.
Stay away unless you want to be fooled
