Turquoise Resort Hotel&Spa

Hi, we were at the Turquise Hotel in Sorgun for 8 nights. Sorgun is a quieter area around Side and you are not besieged by tourists around the hotel. There are no shops on-site. You have to take a taxi to get out. Which is not a big deal, however. The hotel is very family-friendly. Unfortunately, the pool is overcrowded very early; the German rule of getting up early to reserve the best spots applies, which I found very cheeky at times. Because some lounge chairs were only occupied with towels and there were no hotel guests there. That is why there is a minus point there. I especially liked it on the pier, although it really should be renovated; you can swim very well there, and above all, the air by the sea is a bit more refreshing than at the pool; the sea had a pleasant temperature, the pool was not very refreshing, much too warm. There was entertainment too, but there was no pressure. The service is rather poor, far too few waiters and no service at the tables; we often had to wait a long time for drinks. But despite all that, we had a nice time and will probably come back again.

We stayed for 10 days on site and we regretted not being able to extend our stay. The hotel is superb! Very well maintained, full of flowers and trees. Very clean. The housekeeping staff cleans several times a day. The piers that go out into the sea are very popular and offer a superb view. It is very convenient for swimming because there are pebbles in the water (bring water shoes). What a selection at the buffet restaurant! There is something for every taste. And it is really very good! It is a world of cats; they are everywhere. But they are never aggressive and remain discreet. The pools are clean as well. And there are enough lounge chairs. (get up early to get good spots) There is a gym, quite useful, and some outdoor classes (yoga, water aerobics). The rooms are spacious. You should choose the annex buildings or the reception building if you want quiet. I advise against the building near the pool because the musical evenings end late. The shows and musical groups were really high quality! My downside would be regarding the cleaning of the rooms. Insufficient for my taste, especially regarding the bathroom facilities. And also regarding soundproofing. If your neighbor wears heels, you will hear her! But otherwise, everything else was perfect!

Excellent 2 weeks in July, 2 adults and a 17 year old. From UK. Hotel lovely and very welcoming. Bar and restaurant staff very attentive - a small tip goes a long way. Room clean, if a little tired in places. Cleaned every day and excellent air conditioning. Animation staff fantastic, big shout out to Nuri at darts. Also water volley, aqua gym, boules, Zumba, etc. Professional evening entertainment. Only downside is location. Too hot to walk to Side (taxi 10 euro) and very few shops nearby. However would absolutely recommend.
