A last minute change to this hotel was a nice suprise. On arrival the hotel has a wow factor about, the reception is very lush and guest relations very helpful. We booked a family room as there were 3 adult family members sharing. The room on the surface looked really nice as it had obviously been recently refurbished but on closer inspection it seems a bit of a rushed job. The floor tiles had not been replaced so some scratches and missing chunks, the new furniture was flimsy but serviceable. The beds were so comfy though, and the bedding super clean.
The buffet restaurant was huge and always super busy unless you went very late and then there was not much left. There were many Turkish and eastern European guests that did not believe in queuing and were quite rude if you got in their way. They were very demanding of the waiters meaning the meak and mild British after took a back seat! The entertainment started late but was usually very good. The beach bars by the entertainment area didn't have the branded drinks we drank so you had to go to the lounge bar to get them which was a bit of a trek. Pools were lovely and never had a problem getting a sunbed but the beach area was small and difficult to get a bed. We enjoyed our holiday but would probably not return.

We stayed at this hotel from 01/08 to 08/08/2026. We stayed in a comfort family room. Check-in was quick, we went to our room which was furnished to a high standard. One of the first things we noticed was that it wasn't clean, and that the balcony door was not able to be locked because the lock hinges were broken. We reported this to reception straight away, but nobody came to repair it. The next morning, we saw a Jet2 Holidays customer service representative Baris in the lobby. We reported the broken balcony door to him and went back to our room, within 10 minutes somebody came and fixed the door. Baris was around most days and I have to say that he's amazing, friendly and helpful. He assisted us a few times. As I mentioned, our room was nicely furnished, balcony was massive but it's a shame that the room cleaning quite poor. It consisted of changing the towels, emptying the bins, and that's it. The floor was not sweeped/hoovered, our bedding wasn't changed throughout our stay, there's a lot of dust which has not been cleaned for probably months, bathrooms were very dirty, the shower glass and sinks/sink taps were filthy. But, saying all this, the rest of the hotel inside and outside, is very clean. So I am not sure why there is such a big difference in cleanliness of rooms. The food and drink was good, plenty of choices for both. We went to one of the A La Carte Steakhouse restaurants - we waited over an hour for our food while some other guests who arrived at the same time as us were served starters, mains and desserts while we were still waiting for our food and it wasn't even that busy with 3 tables all together. I ordered lamb, my husband and son had steak. The lamb tasted bad, I ended up with vomiting and diarrhea all night. My husband and son's steaks were nice, and they were fine with no issues. I ate the buffet food every day with no issues at all. So we were not happy with the service at the A La Carte because certain guests seemed like priority over others. We didn't bother with the swimming pools because they were too crowded, most of the sun loungers were covered with towels by half 7 in the morning, and the music was blaringly loud. So we spent every day at the beach and sea. It was calmer and quieter. There's a few cats around the hotel permises - they all look very skinny. Some guests, mostly children, do feed them now and again, so did we. Considering how much food goes to waste, it would be nice if some food was left somewhere for the cats. The turkish nights show was really good, but this and the Turkish flags here and there were the only Turkish things about this hotel. There is a lack of Turkish spirit/magic. The music is mostly generic English pop music - it would be nice if there was some Turkish/Ottoman music at least in the evening. All staff are friendly, hard-working and respectful. But, most of them hardly ever have a smile on their face. I witnessed two female members of staff coming out of the toilet without washing their hands, one of which was tending to the bar. The hotel is very family-orientated, all music stops around 11 PM, there are no roudy drunk people shouting or disturbing others. So everyone was able to get a good night sleep. All in all, we did have a nice holiday and would recommend it.
