Grand Kurdoglu

Very old fashioned. Rooms smelled bad. Air-conditioning smells rotten. Towels were changed but smelled bad. Carpets were not vacuumed in our 5 night stay nor vacuumed prior to us arriving. Pictures are misleading. Music from next door bar extremely loud 6pm-6am. Food was satisfactory and good selection although only chicken was served, no meats no fish. Staff were friendly. Hotel is mainly aimed at Eastern European. Family hotel. Walking distance to Marina and walking distance for corniche.

Visited Kurdoglu in 2006, it was horrendous, all the horrible things it says in the reviews are true. 15 years on they are still getting away with it??. Still people are falling for it. They offer a ridiculously low price for all inclusive but you dont get all inclusive. The facilities were all closed for refurbishment in 2006, and it seems they are still refurbishing 15 years late??. Horrid plase, stay away.

Ok where to start.........4 star this Hotel is not!!!The reason it has 4 stars is that there is a spar and roof top pool and the stars are from the Turkish government.We stayed for 10 nights all inclusive and have travelled to Turkey many times but this is by far the worst experience we have ever had.We went with an open mind as to the reviews posted about this hotel but found out very soon that they hit the mark too well! We had 2 rooms and both had their faults but we made the best of what we had. We had to ask for clean towels as it turned out Mum's had not been changed for 4 days...... The food was Turkish fare everyday.I like Turkish food but this was not good Turkish food. It was the same style everyday (and I'm sure lunch was recycled for dinner!!). As for the drinks well...... I really like Efes beer but we were served Skol from plastic bottles (when they had some!!). The staff were, well lets just say that thankfully the lady who worked on reception was wonderful.The young lads working the bar and dining area were surely at best...... We tried one night to sit in the roof top bar area to watch the cruise leave the harbour and was thrown out at 10:02(the bar closed at 10:00). Please don't go here .
