Istankoy Hotel

Employees were super kind and helpful. Unfortunately while I was there some issue arose so that the entire hotel was completely shut down - furniture removed, everything gone except my room contents. Inside and entrance area of the building was beautiful, but rooms needed upgrades for sure. I had been on an all day tour so they were waiting for me to get back and pack, very accommodating. Manager very sweetly arranged for me to stay at another local hotel, paid for it out of her own pocket since there was no way to reimburse me and had an employee help me transfer to the new location. I did not feel inconvenienced, I felt sorry that they were all losing their positions.

The hotel is quite quiet. Various Collections were on display in the lobby, which I found quite interesting. The venues are well-rated. Loved the hole in the entrance of the room. The decoration is simple and beautiful. The interior is quite roomy. Everything in the breakfast was prepared with praise and care. We had an extremely enjoyable and relaxing weekend.Thank you.

Cons: Receptionist gave two wrong room keycards while we were checking in around 2am - 3am. It was so embarrassing and unsafe to us and to those presently occupying the rooms. Imagine someone is trying to open your doors while you were sleeping. Pros: Great location wise, multiple restaurants within the area, near to seafront.
