the hotel was right at the center of Taksim square so although we visited Istanbul with a group we were able to skip it and have a walk to the center. Located in a really safe area. Hotel was very clean and also nice breakfast.

We stayed there for a week while visiting Istanbul. The hotel is located in the down town area (Taksim Square). 3-5 min. walk to restaurants, stores, bars, easy transportations. You can walk around after a long day. They made us wait for about 20 minutes when we got there since other people were checking out and they needed to clean the rooms. They then offered us gifts (small blue eye charms) to make up for the waiting time. The room was very trendy and comfortable. The pool, Turkish bath, sauna and fitness centre are very well maintained and allow to relax after a long day. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Always available to help us out even with suggesting activities. Breakfast was great. The had an amazing variety of plates, fruits, dairy products, pastries, sweets and more. We asked the staff about a specific type of pastry (that we heard a lot about but wasn't available in their menu) and they even took the time to make some the next morning so we could try it. Overall great experience. I would choose this hotel over and over again if I end up visiting Istanbul again.
