Orka Royal

After two years without a holiday, we were really looking forward to our trip to Turkey. We booked the Orka Royal Hotel because the price was very good, and the photos online made it look impressive. Unfortunately, the hotel was nothing like it was described. The rooms were very small and dirty, with hair in the corners of the room and in the shower. The air conditioning made a loud noise all night, and the room temperature never went below 18°C, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The breakfast was exactly the same every day, with very little variety. The rooftop swimming pool was always empty, with no atmosphere and no staff around. The Turkish bath and spa were also very old and poorly maintained. We visited twice, but there was no one using the facilities, which was very disappointing. Overall, this hotel did not live up to the description or the photos online. We expected a much better experience and left feeling very disappointed.

My son and I stayed for a week at the beginning of July 2026. Professional and helpful staff, modern and clean hotel and above all strategic for visiting the city.

Great location, staff are helpful, friendly. Rooms clean, very comfy mattress and pillows, did feel small for 3 people and no windows on 6th floor felt closed in we were close to the lift wasn’t too bad you could hear conversations from other rooms where people were talking loudly. Breakfast was poor the quality, especially the scrambled eggs and squash coffee was ok, some salads , cheeses may be ok for some but for us was disappointing nothing was labelled. Great location restaurant food was a good standard and great views from rooftop pool Would stay again if breakfast improves and not on the 6th floor.
