A good little hotel in an excellent location. You literally walk outside the door into the Hippodrome Square and Blue Mosque which is excellent as a sightseer. Bed is super comfy and we slept like babies every night we were here, we had room 301. Drawbacks were the shower head did not work so a little maintenance is needed. Breakfast was a big let down from my previous experience in Istanbul at a different hotel. It was very limited and they consistently ran out of juice so I ended up buying my own to bring to breakfast. If you want a good location, good price and simple fare, this is the place for you. We did enjoy our stay.

The location alone is worth the cost of the stay, right in front of the blue mosque! Clean room, bathroom amenities available, kettle with tea and coffee, safe, Breakfast to improve, too small spaces in the room and tiny bathroom the negatives of the structure.

If you want an immersive accommodation experience in Istanbul, Hotel Spectra is ideal. Situated right on the corner of Sultanahmet Square, you're 20 seconds away from the Sublime Blue Mosque, a few minutes walk from the unmissable Hagia Sofia and the Topkapi Palace. It's also close to the essential tram line that'll take you to the waterfront and across the Galata Bridge. The hotel has amazing breakfasts and exceptionally friendly staff, who'll organise anything for you. And the price is reasonable. We found out about it from a relative who'd stayed there, and the staff said many of their bookings come from word of mouth.
