Intercontinental Istanbul

Everything was above and beyond. We would like to thank Idriss at the front desk for taking care of the details. On our last day, we met Gizem, who was our server at the lunch meeting. I had a great three night stopover at the Intercontinental as part of a Turkish Airlines package. It’s a luxury hotel in a great location, about five minutes walk to Taksim Metro station and Istiklal Street. My room was spacious with a view over the Bosphorus. The buffet breakfast is huge with a great selection of local and western options. Great service from all the staff I spoke to during my stay. While many tourists prefer hotels in the old city, I’d happily go back to the Intercontinental. It’s an easy trip by public transport to the sites of the old city, and the Taksim area has a less touristy feel.

Intercontinenal Istanbul was a true five-star experience in the best location in Istanbul. From nice staff to quality breakfast and an amazing view from both the room and the bar, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you intercontinental and we will be back
