My family and I stayed in this small hotel, in the Seraglio hill area, from which it takes its name, in Sultanahmet for 4 nights. Our triple room on the first floor has a balcony: clean, but it needs modernization both in the room and in the bathroom. The strong points are: the location, in five minutes you arrive at Sultanahmet square; the breakfast, every morning they prepared excellent omelets for us, then, a buffet for the rest of the savory items and various sweet products, appreciated by Italians, with a splendid view of the Blue Mosque; several times, after long days around the city, we also appreciated the dinner service, always on the terrace, with a 10% guest discount, eating excellent Caesar salads and Turkish beer at fair prices. Another strong point is the staff: kind and attentive, a mention for the receptionist Andrew (I think) of the evening shift, who also speaks a little Italian and was always available.

The hotel is ideally located for visiting all of the attractions in Sultanahmet and surrounding areas. The hotel room was a good size and very modern. We had a lovely room with a Turkish style bath/shower. Toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided so you don’t need to bring them with you. The cleanliness of the hotel was immaculate and towels were changed every day. The cleaner definitely worked very hard to keep all of the marble sparkling. The hotel staff were amazing. Not only were they very friendly but had an amazing WhatsApp system so if you needed anything at all, not just whilst inside the hotel, they were there to assist you. The breakfast was a continental style with a chef who cooks eggs in the style that you prefer. Everything was very fresh and delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel as they couldn’t do enough to make your stay memorable and it’s in a perfect location.

Again, based on Tripadvisor reviews, we booked this little hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet, Istanbul, for a Christmas break, and were delighted with it. Completely matched the reviews and the staff were, as so often noted in the reviews, just so good and helpful. Food and breakfast ok, and service excellent; never mind that, the view of the Bosphorus at Breakfast breath-taking - you are watching the continuation of thousands of years of history! For a wonderful cold and sometimes rainy December Istanbul break I had to turn the heating down to minimum in my room, it was too cozy.
