Istanbul Comfort Hotel

I recommend to everyone that you do not go to that hotel, if you can even call it that; it is not a hotel, especially not a three-star one. It is an old, dirty pigsty with completely neglected maintenance. There are cockroaches, the air conditioning does not work, the breakfast buffet and room service do not exist, and the terrace view is a view of the trash on the roof. Everything is broken, the towels and sheets are torn, there are extra beds in the hallway... disastrous. Being economical does not justify the bad experience you have to endure, as it is actually expensive for what it offers. I do not understand how websites promote this hotel; it discredits them and generates distrust for future bookings.

In 35 years of traveling, I have never seen a dump like this; I didn't believe it was possible to fall so low. As soon as we arrived, we were told that the booked rooms were two and not three, despite the reservation document. I'll keep it brief: double room measuring 2.5 x 3 meters, a bed for one and a half people, and only one bedside table. The bathroom: to enter the shower, you have to climb over the toilet (the lid and seat were not secured, and the sink: it too was not secured, and the handle of the mixer comes off when you turn it on). In the room, we found a complete set of cut nails on the carpet, a nonexistent wardrobe, and a television with severed cables; of course, the tufts of hair and fur kept us company. In four days, they NEVER tidied the rooms (3) nor did they ever replace the large towel.

I had booked a room and paid in advance. On the day of my arrival I received an email saying, "The supplier has advised us that they are unable to accommodate your booking."
