Mangana Konak Hotel

Lovely location Requires some walking to get to public transportation But worth it I had my toddlers along, leaving the hotel in the morning on the quiet roads was convenient and calm I can't imagine what it would have been like if we stayed in a different neighborhood (more active or connected like serkigi) The cobblestone in the neighborhood was challenging to our stroller but things worked out The hotel staff Friendly, personal and the scale of the hotel makes it very cozy not mass production Few rooms Few guests at a time Calm simple breakfast But versatile and delicious The salads thoughtfully dressed Very friendly hospitable Saber serving us breakfast Greeting us everyday Joking with the kids Bringing us what we need or suggesting fruit and cutting it for them We booked the superior room Size was adequate with a queen bed and a sofa that turns into a bed Bathroom was great with a jacuzzi and counter around the sink Bring along some toiletries as the soap available isn't convenient for every purpose But many towels and toilet paper of course

We came for the first time to Istanbul and had a 23 hr layover. Mangana Konak Hotel Was perfect - ocean view terrace, very friendly and helpful staff, a nice walk to restaurants and cafes and to see The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and more. We almost stayed closer to The Blue Mosque but frankly we loved being by the ocean and prefer a clean yet no big frills place (budget friendly). We would definitely stay again.

It was a wonderful experiance to stay at the Mangana Konak Hotel in Istanbul, just a few minutes by foot to Istanbuls main attractions! The Air conditioning in the hotel room was amazing in a hot country like Turkey. The staff were very respectful, polite and would listen to any of our requests such as an extra blanket in the room. The breakfast was also delicious and has everything you need to start your day. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable, I would definately visit this hotel again.
