Absolutely to be avoided, horrible breakfast with no pastries and just a few bread croutons, no water, no juice. The welcome leaves much to be desired. Good point. It is well located, and that's it.

Here in Spain this hotel corresponds to a poor quality hostel. We were bounced by the owner to this Hotel pq in which we booked Abelia Mansion Hotel, broke some pipes and could not use the rooms we had reserved.
Supposedly the same owner.
The Mevlana hotel has the hardest mattresses. The pillows that were in the closet were dirty, unwashed. The lamp above the bed without light bulb. We asked for it to be put on but it had no switch.
The light above the bathroom mirror the same. The bathroom very small with third world furniture. The style shower.
Very small rooms.
The only q-table there was no drawers.
The fridge in our friends' room wasn't working.
As for breakfast....lousy falls short. Located on the terrace of the building. 7 types of jam. 4 pieces of bread. Cold scrambled eggs and when they run out and you ask for more they don't make them. 4 slices cold frankfurt sausages. Olives. Yogurt cheese, cereal and milk. There's no vegetable milk.
Very lousy breakfast.
I recommend breakfast right across the street. Breakfast there we find out that they also have rooms. A wonderful place for breakfast as it has a small patio and great quality breakfast. It is called Darussadde Hotel Restaurant (coffee Efori).
We do not recommend the hotel Mevlana.
The only positive thing that the owner accompanied us on the tram to the port where we had booked the boat to do the Bosporus cruise.
I also say that I do not know when I have been charged 4 times on my card that I have not. Matter I've reported.
Watch out for cards and contact them. I recommend disconnecting NFC, and protecting cards and mobile phones with silver foil cases. It's the latest scam that's all the rage.
I'm not coming back to this country.

Horrible room. I booked with Turkish holiday online: never again. Hotel Mevlana does not reply to emails. Despite paying a surcharge they gave me a room with an internal window, if I opened it would enter puzzs. In the morning I didn't even know if it was good or bad weather. Very nice terrace for breakfast and location. Friendly staff. For three days broken coffee machine. Poor buffet.
