The hotel is perfectly located, just meters from the center and from notable places for those visiting Istanbul. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and spotless. They have a lovely view. The breakfast is varied and very delicious. The staff is very attentive. Although they did not speak much Spanish, they were able to make themselves understood.

With a group trip, we stayed in this 4-star hotel in Istanbul recommended by the agency. We had a good experience, especially considering the excellent location in the city center, and despite that, the hotel is not noisy at all! Breakfast and evening buffet were good with all Turkish food, which of course cannot compare to the unbeatable Italian food. The Nippon is located just a few minutes' walk from Taksim and Nişantaşı squares and close to the city's most famous places. Easily reachable, the heart of the cultural center and more! About twenty minutes on foot leads to the main street rich with luxurious shops and historical sites. The only downside for us Italians is, of course, the absence of a bidet in the bathroom!

Unfortunately, as many travelers know, hotel star ratings in Istanbul don’t always reflect the actual quality of the property. However, Nippon Hotel managed to leave a positive impression on me — not as a luxury or exceptional hotel, but as a solid and reliable option within its price range, especially for my 2-day transit stay in Istanbul. The location of the hotel is excellent. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Taksim Square, and the streets around the hotel feel safe and pleasant. One of the biggest advantages is the Havaist airport shuttle stop, which is just a 2-minute walk away. These buses operate regularly to and from both Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport, and considering how expensive taxis in Istanbul have become, this is a major benefit. The room itself was small, but acceptable. Cleanliness was decent — not exceptional, but satisfactory. The room and bathroom design were modern and attractive, and both the bathroom and shower were clean. The hotel staff were friendly and polite throughout my stay. In my opinion, the real standard of this hotel is closer to a very good 3-star hotel rather than a higher-category property. Still, considering its advantages and price point (I paid around $65 USD per night for a double room without breakfast), I would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to Istanbul
