Sarnic Boutique Istanbul

We stayed here in February 2026. The only advantage of the hotel is the location and the window view of the mosque. But there are much more disadvantages: dirty room, dust everywhere, mold in the bathroom, the tap, sink and the shower are dirty as well, breakfast isn't good: many products aren't fresh, especially salads. Coffee and tea are not so good. The staff was quite friendly until I asked if I could take some cucumber and sausages in the bag as we were leaving that day. The staff didn't give the bag and said it was not allowed to take away any products. Hospitality? I fon't think so. The card from the room didn't work well. We came back plenty of times to decide the problem. I totally do not recommend it if you got used to clean rooms.

Great hotel very well located 2 steps from the obelisks, the blue mosque and St Sophie The rooms are spacious and the comfort room even has a mini bar with reasonable catches on sodas and cold water bottles. The bathrooms are impeccable, clean and fragrant towels. Nothing to say about hygiene. On the other hand we had taken half board it was dark at 6pm and we did not want to go back to the hotel with the night. Breakfast was frugal with little food, and the evening meal was crummy. We ate 2 nights in a row the same things shredded carrots as a starter and chicken cutlet reconstituted with frozen fries. On the third evening a little piece of chicken in sauce and plain rice. No starter or dessert... So I recommend sleeping there but having lunch near the Blue Mosque. And dine on the go or in the small restaurants around the hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming overall and the rooftop has a breathtaking view of the Blue Mosque.

Sometimes price shouldnt matter. A hotel should have at least a minimum standard. This hotel doesnt fulfil any hotel criteria. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
