I would like to share my experiences during my stay at the Serenity Hotel in Istanbul.
Initially chose another hotel near the center in the Sultanahmet area.
Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, the representative of the host company Fit holiday decided to please me, ,said that the hotel I chose, for a still unknown reason, could not accept me.Offered me the Hotel Serenity and convinced me that it was even better than the one I chose.
I didn't have a choice but I agreed to take a preliminary look at it, which is really not far from the center. And I was also asked to sign a document saying that I voluntarily agreed to the change of hotel.
When they brought me to the hotel outside, I knew it was a real four-story barn.
And accordingly inside too.
Hotel renovations I think were last done 40, 50 years ago.
They offered a room on the ground floor, but it's not really the first, it's the basement.
Immediately checked in and immediately after the water treatments in the combined bathroom appeared water on the floor which did not leave but constantly arrived .Even if it was not used.
When asked to resolve the issue, it was unclear that a specialist might be called.
The specialist never came. The next day he asked to move to another room. But it turned out the hotel was full. The next day they moved in.
About breakfast. Terrible and scarce. It's just tea from the hot one.
My Recommendation not to choose this hotel for anyone. Unless you want to ruin your holiday.
