Sogut Hotel

We have booked a king room on B**k1ng.c*m. We arrived at 5am and were taken to a room that seemed to match our purchase, but a call from the reception to the concierge and we were put in a small room with 2 separate beds, which reeked of cigarettes (the window was open when arriving) a very noisy and inefficient reversible clap to heat the room. We were too tired to fight and spent the first night (or what was left of it) curdling. The next morning we asked for a room corresponding to our purchase and we were put in an even smaller room with a standard bed 140*190 ... the bathroom had no VMC or other type of air circulation, all the steam from the showers poured into the room, in the morning it smelled like sewers and the sink had trouble venting... the worst are the walls that are absolutely not soundproof and that made us live until midnight after the fiery discussions between the neighbor and his father on the phone without worrying if he lost the neighbors, and those (still on the phone) of a Syrian refugee who spoke very loudly, who occupied 2 rooms on either side of the hallway, letting the doors open and his children play in the hallway... until midnight past.... We left (no other words) the second day for a cleaner and quieter hotel... In short, horrible experience, I do not recommend to anyone it is unlivable... and besides, off promo rate it is extremely expensive for what it is.

Centrally located hotel, very professional and helpful staff. Rooms are cleaned daily and cleanliness throughout the property is impeccable. Recommended.

I had a very pleasant stay at Sogut Hotel in Istanbul. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and the professionalism of the entire team. Special thanks to Ahmed for his kindness, availability, and especially his beautiful smile, which immediately makes guests feel comfortable. I would also like to sincerely thank all the reception staff, who were always friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to the housekeeping lady in charge of the 3rd floor, who ensured daily cleaning with fresh, very clean towels changed every day. The breakfast also deserves special praise: it was very good, well-balanced, lightly spiced yet full of flavor, and varied every day, which made each morning enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for the quality of its service, cleanliness, and the warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home. A truly wonderful experience that I would gladly repeat.
