Our stay was very good and the attention to detail was up there with the very best. Gurur was very polite and took our belongings and drove us in the buggy to our meet point. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants be at the heart of Istanbul as the location is the best you can get.

Travelled with family and picked this hotel mainly for the location - literally steps away from the top attractions in Istanbul, and more senior family members can go back to the room anytime they feel like taking a break. Hotel itself is amazing, and staff are friendly and helpful.

I was so disappointed with this hotel. It is bang in the centre so for that I would say a 5 star location. And that for me is where it ends. To get 5* you should be attending to details but: There were no flannels in the room and one towel when we arrived. One small bottle of water. Air con wasn’t on so we walked into a baking hot room The taps to the bath leaked everywhere and this was not something I called reception for as, when you are about to get in, it’s an inconvenience. We were offered a room change but all we want is it right in the first place. No one was in check in when I arrived so we had to sit and wait. There was no bell. Staff were not chatty and were often just on their phones in work areas Frequently no one offered would you like a drink, especially Monday morning and I sat in the bar area and there was a team talk with all managers. But no one asked if I was ok. So this is why I dropped stars. Finally the pool is shut. A big pain and we didn’t know until we arrived. There was an alternative but it was a fair way away. It was also a bit tatty and grubby. Paint peeling, dirty bins and laundry just left. Pics reflect this. One shout out to the guy in breakfast Monday morning who was bright engaging and chatty I didn’t get his name.
