Almina Hotel

Location was good but reception guy on the first day was rude. Rooms were tiny. Breakfast was okay but dinner was terrible not like they had advertised. The other staff however was very kind.

What I liked: 1. Location in the historical center of the city. Attractions, small shops, cafes, restaurants and a tram stop are within walking distance. 2. Cozy, clean rooms. The room has a kettle, mugs + tea bags + coffee + sugar. 3. Polite staff, a little Russian speaking. The form of administrators emphasizes good service. 4. Good breakfasts. The puddings were particularly enjoyed: rice, milk, chocolate. 5. Bosphorus view from the restaurant! 6. I really enjoyed walking around the hotel on the narrow cobbled streets. The waterfront can be reached in 5-10 minutes. 7. Transfers to the airport can be booked. What didn't like: 1. If this is the first time you have come, the complicated street layout makes it difficult to find a hotel. 2. The Blue Mosque minarets are not far away. The overall impression is positive! I recommend it when choosing your place of residence.

My son and I have just returned from Istanbul Turkey for the first time. What a wonderful experience this was but especially because we stayed at hotel Almina. What a great hotel and especially the receptionist each of them. Very friendly and helpful no question is too much from day 1 on arrival. Very clean every day and it smells lovely We had a double size bed but asked for two singles beds, which was no problem at all. Upon returning home we had booked a transfer and that went great too. Overall Almina hotel is the best and nicest hotel we have ever had and that is made possible by the receptionists
