convenient location near Takssim & Istiklal street, the staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful with good English however, the price was relatively a bit high given the fact that it's not a fancy place but good overall, next time i visit Istanbul, i would try somewhere else for the same price tag though

The area might look dodgy but it's perfectly fine really and then apparent dodginess is common in many streets of Istanbul I found. The hotel is near a taxi station and the staff will offer to talk to them in way to avoid tourists being ripped off, which is pretty common in Istanbul. The good: spacious room (we stayed in a 3x standard) well furnished, the location (near Demiroren center in Istiklal St. and Taksim metro), very kind staff, the price. The breakfast is ok albeit limited but then it's fine for the price. I didn't might the street noise as the hotel does offer ear plugs and it really becomes some sort of white noise and it was not annoying even for me that sleeps lightly. It has 2 entrances: One in Tarlabasi boulevard and the other in an alley parallel to Tarlabasi under the name Aytuna Hotel. Overall I would recommend staying in the hotel. I had a good experince.

Great hotel if you want to stay near Taksim Square,although area seems a little dodgy we had no problems no matter what time we came in.Room exacly as described,breakfast fine and the staff were excellent.
