Hotel Alfonso

This is not a hotel but a small house converted to hotel. As there are only 8 rooms, & Floors are of wooden, so if someone arrives at late night, every guest of hotel gets disturbed. During my stay of 2 days, there was electricity failure for about 2 hours in morning and no power backup is available. You can't call from your room to reception to ask something, so u have to directly come down to reception. Manager is friendly.

If you do not want the atmosphere of a chain hotel that is expensive, then this hotel is the best choice for you in the city. Privately owned and run, nice interiors, and great rooms. Everything is clean and in great shape! Father and son who run it, are the most friendly people you could have. There is also a great terrace on the roof! Breakfast is also great.

In this coussy new hotel you will feel as if you were at home. It´s quiet, the manager will do his best to attend all your demands and is as comfortable as a 5 stars hotel. All is renewed and in the center of Istambul, close to most attractions.
