We stayed for three days, breakfast is included in the accommodation, you can have breakfast on the terrace with a sea view. Very friendly staff, there are Russian speakers and that is very important. Free wifi 24/7 🔥 For its price, this is a very good option, as it is very close to all the sights 👍

I don't understand the good reviews about the hotel. Even if you consider it only a place to stay overnight. I'll say right away that we aren't picky and have lived in Istanbul in 3-star hotels before. We were given a room without separate beds, as was indicated in the booking. And in the category below - economy, not standard. The reception informed us that the hotel is fully booked and they cannot move us. There are no Russian speakers at the reception. But these are trifles. The real number does not match the photo at all! It is much smaller, very bad plumbing and repairs. The air conditioner blows directly into my head, so it's impossible to turn it on. If you open the window, mosquitoes fly in. When we left in the morning, they closed the window, but room service persistently kept opening them, and by evening the room was full of mosquitoes. Towel, plumbing, walls - everything is dirty and dripping. The sink is tiny and water spills onto the floor no matter how hard I try. Could not use the shower, it was leaking heavily at the mounting point. The only plus is the big bed and good mattress. I don't consider the location a plus, because for the same money you can find 5 more such hotels in this and neighboring buildings. Breakfasts are very meager. Coffee from the coffee machine like 3-in-1. Breakfast is at 8, if you come at 9 you might not get eggs and sausage, the only thing there besides cheese and mayonnaise salads.

As soon as we checked into our rooms, we discovered that both air conditioning units were not working and the sink was blocked. We immediately reported these issues to reception, but instead of trying to help, the staff repeatedly argued that the air conditioning was working, even though it clearly wasn't. The rooms were unbearably hot, making them unsuitable to stay in, especially with children in our family. After speaking to the hotel manager, we were told that an engineer would be called, but they could not guarantee whether they would arrive that evening or even the following day. Despite explaining that it would be impossible for our children to sleep in such extreme heat without air conditioning, the manager and reception staff showed little interest in resolving the situation. To make matters worse, we were told that another room was available, but we would have to pay an additional €40 per night to use it until the faults were fixed. We felt this was completely unacceptable, as we should not have been expected to pay extra for a room with basic working facilities. As a result, we decided to leave the hotel and book accommodation elsewhere. The customer service we received was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. It was clear that the hotel was aware of the condition of the rooms but refused to take responsibility or offer a reasonable solution. I would not recommend Istanbul Holiday Hotel to anyone, particularly families. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid booking this hotel.
