Modus Hotel Istanbul

It was the hotel we stayed in before. Mr. Engin at the reception and other hotel staff were very attentive. The staff was very friendly. The open buffet breakfast is already very nice. A very warm and beautiful hotel. Thank you very much for everything. Again, we left very satisfied. Many thanks to all Modus Hotel staff.

We rested at the hotel at the beginning of April, came to Istanbul to take a walk and go on excursions. We looked at a lot of hotels and apartments, but settled on Modus and overall did not regret it. The hotel is modern, the lobby smells nice, it’s clean, the design is interesting, the reception staff are always welcoming and friendly. We had a family room with one shared bed and two separate beds, on the 3rd floor. The refrigerator did not work, they only provided 3 bottles of water for a family of 4 people. They told the workers about this, they said they would change it, but a day later nothing had changed and they didn’t give me water. We reminded again, the refrigerator was changed. And they brought water. But they didn't bring any more. In general, the room was clean, they cleaned it every day (the bed was made, consumables were provided, the trash was not always removed, towels were changed). We were worried that it would be cold in the room, maybe 14 at night, but the air conditioner worked! True, of the two panels next to the beds, only one worked. The room is shabby and shabby. In general, everything is as in the photo, but if you look closely, you will see a shabby chair, in the bathroom the stand for shampoos and gels is all tattered, the pins are sticking out in place of what appears to be a towel dryer. There is an outlet right in the bed, cool! View from the window onto the street, the windows are right next to the bed. The bathroom is in the middle of the room, closed by a compartment door. It’s not very convenient, because all the aromas and sounds are all over the whole room. The location of the hotel is generally good, but it is on a hill! This means that every time you come home you will have to get up (no matter where you came from). Osmanbey metro station is within walking distance, 10-15 minutes on foot. It is the most convenient way to get to the hotel; from shisli there is a very strong climb! Nearby there is juice, migoros and everything you need, pizzerias, cafes. In a straight line, straight from the hotel you can walk to Taksim Square and then to the main pedestrian street - Istillal. only 30-45 minutes on foot. The road is good, wide, straight. Near the hotel there is the Cities shopping center and a street with all the brands. A LOT OF DRESSES. All are very beautiful, price tag starts from 10 thousand lire. We recommend taking water from the A101 store, where it is cheapest. Breakfast at the hotel is not as extensive as in the photo. In fact, it is a small nook, 3 tables. Vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers), a couple of salads, 3 types of sausage, 2 types of dessert, eggs, fries, fried sausages, bread, jams, muesli, coffee, tea. Once they offered an omelette and an omelette with cheese. There are literally 10 tables in the dining room itself. It’s modest, but you can live. We rested for 5 days, generally tolerable. Having a snack in the morning and getting out for a walk is just what you need! The hotel is modern, in a good safe area, but a bit far from the center. Suitable for a family holiday, but for the money we expected better quality. We are grateful to the hotel staff - all great fellows, they always took great care of our comfort - from the waiters to the cleaning ladies! The service is good. Normal hotel!
