Saruhan Hotel

We travel a lot, however, we have rarely found such clean rooms. Even the windows were flawlessly clean. The breakfast room is wonderful and the view from the terrace stunning. We noticed the friendly, respectful treatment of the staff towards each other and the guests. Here you can see that you have this fun at work. No one is friendly when put on. For guests with walking difficulties, the hotel is not suitable unless they take a taxi.The area has steep paths to nearby attractions, mostly with cobblestones. Although a busy road is separated from hotel by a park, the "noise" did not bother us. An event restaurant is located in the park. On Saturday evenings, music could permeate here. We didn't mind now. Those who come to Istanbul should bring tolerance and enjoy the beautiful city.

I'll start with the downsides - there's a lot less. 1) Room 401 with sea view. The view of the sea is very conventional, just the side of the sea, and in load noise from the street, until the middle of the night with an open balcony is substantial. Overpaid 7,000 for this species, it doesn't make sense. 2) a 140x200 bed, for a couple, not even a large one like us, folded up quite tightly at night like tetris; 3) from the second night they closed the door to the balcony because of the noise and turned on the conder, so, after the blackout it drips quite intensely for a while. I think that's it. On the plus side: 1) the location is excellent, to the promenade is a minute walk, not that it is picturesque, but the view and smell of the sea..., to Aya Sofia, as it was written here, 15 minutes up, to the tram T1 - also, nearby; 2) the staff is polite and helpful - do not speak Russian, English - it is quite possible to explain; 3) the room - small, but in terms of "overnight" everything is there. The plumbing is new, nothing leaks, the TV is small (channels 100500, but connected a flash drive with movies), the minibar (water, coke) for the money, There was not enough cabinet volume, but not all were taken out at once, fits; iron and mini-ironing board on request, hairdryer in the room, safe is free too. Cleaning on request, quality; 4) breakfasts... in general, on our arrival the same thing every morning - omelet, sausages, kinds of 4 cheeses, as many olives, a few salads, melon, apples, grapes, peach, three kinds of pastries, bread, coffee machine, tea. On the plus side - terrace from the dining room with beautiful sea views (yes!), access to the terrace, coffee machine and tea until midnight; I spent the night smoking and spending the day there - fine! In general, the hotel recommends. Price-quality more than acceptable

Great hotel in Istanbul! Stayed with the pair for 3 nights in late August 2025. The hotel has very beautiful authentic interiors that you want to take a long look at. But despite the historical design, the rooms have a clean and modern bathroom with working plumbing. Internet in the rooms works great, there is a free safe. Every morning on the terrace from 8 to 10 hearty breakfasts are served: fruits, vegetables, cheeses, sausages, cereal, scramble, eggs, pastries, jams, soft drinks. The terrace offers chic views of the Marble Sea and the ships, and you can also drink tea and coffee from the coffee machine for free until midnight. Cleaning every day, the staff is very friendly, speaks English and Turkish. We got to the hotel on Havaist-11, we got to Sultanahmet Square, from it to the hotel about 11 minutes on foot. From the cafe nearby loved Ziya Baba - inexpensive, delicious, food fresh. From the cons: to the nearest tram walk 10 minutes into a very steep slide, also around from the cafe are one kebab. But it's a feature of the area. Sultanahmet Square, with its main attractions, is also a hillside walk, but not so steep. In general, a very decent hotel in the historical district for full immersion in the history of beautiful Istanbul.
