Foca Kalyon

the location is wonderfull. If your room is facing the sea , it is like you are sleeping over the sea. Very nice view. The rooms are clean and tidy , but some refurbishment to the rooms and bathroom would be nice. As it is an old hotel , you must not leave your bathrooms door open , the smell covers the room. Dining area and staff is very good. Our experience was in winter , maybe in summer it is more ready.

Three days I had to mop up the bathroom as it leaked after every shower. The Tv did not work. Manager would turn the air-con off when he wanted. On top of all that he tried to change the price even after he wrote the price down on a paper. Loved Foca beautiful place, but Kalyon Hotel spoiled the experience. Left a bad taste.

The hotel is right on the sea front. The decor is out of date, though the bed was reasonable but the shower door was hanging off its hinges. I stayed for only one night and that was enough. I stayed with a group of people and we felt that the hotel could do with updating. Fortunately I was there when it was cool otherewise the noise from the air conditioning would have been untenable.
