Key Hotel

We stayed at Key Hotel for just one night as a family before continuing our journey, and to be honest, we had no particular expectations - we simply needed a comfortable place to stay in Izmir. What a wonderful surprise this hotel turned out to be! I travel a lot and have stayed in many excellent hotels around the world, so I really appreciate when quality can be felt not only in the obvious things, but in the smallest details. And this is exactly what impressed me about Key Hotel. Everything feels exceptionally well thought out - the design, the atmosphere, the room, the incredibly comfortable bed, the quality of the materials, the cleanliness, the amenities and all those little details that you may not even notice individually, but together create a feeling of real comfort and luxury. The location is wonderful, right on the waterfront, and the hotel itself is elegant, stylish and beautifully designed. But what impressed me just as much as the hotel itself was the service. After leaving Izmir, I realized that I had accidentally left my black Prada sleep mask in the bed. It is very special to me, so I contacted the hotel hoping they might have found it. The staff responded immediately, contacted Housekeeping, found my mask and then went out of their way to help arrange for it to be delivered to my friend who was still staying outside Izmir. This kind of attention and genuine care says more about the level of a hotel than anything else. We stayed for only one night, but Key Hotel became one of the most pleasant surprises of our trip. Beautiful, sophisticated, exceptionally comfortable and, most importantly, run by people who truly understand hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend Key Hotel without hesitation. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful stay. I can say that this is the only hotel I will choose when I come to Izmir; I liked it very much. The cleanliness, the breakfast, there wasn't a single problem I could say was bad, the attention to detail in the room and the care of the staff were all wonderful. Thank you Key Hotel.

Hotel in a strategic location, on the Kordon but also close to the Clock Tower and the Kemeralti bazaar. The building is interesting because it is a converted former bank: they even left the black marble in the rooms. Everything very well-kept and clean; our sea-view room was spectacular and huge, even though it was not a superior category room. We had a full five windows overlooking the sea, from which we saw breathtaking sunsets. You won't need anything because the complimentary set is very rich, from Molton Brown, and even includes a shaving kit, in addition to toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mouthwash. The slippers are terry cloth, which was particularly appreciated. The minibar is extremely well-stocked and included in the room price, and it is replenished daily as products are consumed. Another plus is the extreme speed of room tidying; for three out of five days, it was made up during breakfast time. The breakfast is super well-stocked, and you can order a bit of everything à la carte. Over the days, we had: French toast, omelets, pancakes, and soft-boiled eggs. There is also a lounge with a nice cocktail bar and some very well-selected coffee table books to browse through; we didn't try the restaurant, but there is a well-stocked wine cellar.
