Movenpick Hotel Izmir

Great location, great food but watch for executive lounge of you book through Accor app our web, the hôtel won't recognize you have access. First they don't actually have a lounge and then second they will explain you have access to a happy hour. You will need to negotiate to get the breakfast included. Additionally they don't recognize gold status with no welcome message or basket of fruit in your room. Very sad because aside this the hotel and restaurant is great with a very central location without being a factory hotel like it's sister brand swissotel next door with 600 rooms... Some improvements to be expected!

We stayed one night and the experience was not good; the room faced a courtyard with little light. The smell in the room was a mix of tobacco and humidity; dinner was not a buffet, and we were given a fixed menu with no option to choose.
