The rooms are very clean and the food is really good. Congrats to the chef! This hotel is located in the city center of Izmir, just a few minutes from all the main atractions. A profitable use of the terrace is needed, it has so much potential, but unfortunatelly is so misused.

There are no non-smoking rooms. The rooms smell terrible. There is a restaurant right next to the hotel with live music most of the nights. You'll need ear plugs. Also poor isolation within the hotel, you'll hear other guests and elevators noise. For my 5 days stay in the city I stayed here 2 nights and switched to somewhere else for the remaining days.

I just spent 4 nights at the Otel Vesta Liman. They have refurnished the rooms with new furnitur and beautiful floors and tile work. The bathrooms are totally new stone tiled and are beautiful. They have rainshowers in every bathroom. In the rooms are beautiful and comfortable new beds. There is ample closet space with a locking safe in each room. Each room also has a new flat screen TV with many English channels, which helped me, as I do not speak Turkish. I must think that the old poor ratings are from before the renovations. The price is excellent as well as the value. A proper Turkish breakfast is included. I would stay here at anytime! Oh, and I almost forgot , each room has individual heat and air conditioning. A very good hotel in a very good location, right across from Migros Liman Supermarket, where you can always tell a taxi driver to go towards. Safe area, too!!! Quiet at night!
