Hotel Baylan Basmane

Excellent location and great parking available and free. Friendly staff and good breakfast. It has two entry points to reach the center and the main attractions better use main entrance of the parking lot.

Close to Basmanet station, the rooms are spacious enough and the amount of hot water is sufficient. A five-minute walk will take you through Smirna Agora and beyond Kemeralty Market to the Clock Tower on Konak Square. There is also a supermarket on the street in front of Basmanet station. I was surprised at first because it is in a cheap hotel district, but I had no problem staying. It's a narrow street, so the minivan to pick us up from the tour couldn't get in. Just down the main street, there are plenty of eateries to choose from, and we recommend Kivilcim Kebap, a kebab shop, and Niyazibey Ev Yemekleri in Locanta.

Very good location, area with restaurants around (I recommend Topkapi restaurants). Close to reach either on foot or by uber (if you really don't want to walk) the clock tower, Konak square, the waterfront). Rooms ok, spacious. Breakfast ok, but without coffee (just ness).
