Northstar Resort & Hotels

i have conducted a 3 day seminar for our distributors at this hotel and stayed for 3 nights in december. the cost per person for the seminar was really excellent value for money and my stay was very comfortable indeed. all our clients were happy with the service provided. as for accomodation, the staff was very helpful and my room was very quiet and clean. the food wasn't 5 star quality but again that was good value for money also. the location is great if your business is on the asian side of istanbul but i don't really recommend for tourists whose main purpose is to visit the attractions in the european side. the hotel is very close to sabiha gökçen airport and the zoo in darica.

The hotel is far from Istanbul, if you have to go by taxi the price will be almost 75€, better to discuss before. For short time is ok, but if you have to stay there, more than 3 days i don't suggest it. The room is littel, cold , the heating sistem is not working properly, the bed is too soft and if you have not dolors, it will appear. In Turkey is easy have a good meal, but the hotel's restaurant is under the average than you can found at the restaurants around. The breackfast is not continental. The staff than is speacking english are just at reception, for that in the restaurant you should have some problems. The sauna is working just in the early morning and you have to book it one hour before.

Reasonable hotel onthe Asian side of Istanbul. Room was small but clean. Aircon was too noisy to be left on over night. Bathroom was well decorated with a decent shower. Free WIFI was available in room and restaurant. Spa was not open during my stay.
