We had heard so much about this place after years of living in Turkey we wanted to visit. It’s clean and the rooms were comfortable if a little old fashioned. It’s a hike to get to the sea which is all pebbles and very wavy. I was not comfortable with myself or my kids getting in the sea although there were families in the water. The food was not very interesting and the service was slow. Breakfast particularly was a let down. We got up early to get on the road and even though breakfast starts at 7 there was no bread! I can’t say it’s a bad hotel and if you’re driving the coast road it can be a good place to stop on your way somewhere else. but we won’t visit again.

This resort is beautiful and very relaxing, however, the it is not really English speaking friendly. We made it through, but with difficulty. Also, we went during a down period (May) and we were one of three guest. They did not open the buffet, so we had to order, which was difficult due to language barrier and there was no menu. The food was great and everyone was exceptionally nice. We would stay again, if we had other people with us, or if it was a much busier time of year. We got bored.

The pine park may be your only option if you are there for business. If you are there for Akkuyu this is the closest hotel that you can find. It is actually just about 10 mins from the site. The whole facility is old, run down and dirty. The rooms smell of humidity and are dirty. The staff is ok. They are not very professional but they try their best. This hotel was meant to be a vacation destination ( although I don't know who goes there. It is 3 hours away from the closest airport) however with the latest developments in the region it started to serve business travelers. Due to this the hotel has started to renovate its rooms. Again, if you are there for business this may be your best option. However if you can, stay in Adana.
