Akyarlar is a wonderful place however this hotel is one of the worst we have ever stayed. Rooms are like matchbox. Service quality is below zero. They do not serve rooms every day. When we were there the person who is working to clean rooms could not even speak any word English and she was from some ex Russian countries. You are asking something they only give excuse and they were rude. The food looks like open buffet but when you are asking they are saying not available When we say we are not happy and we want to leave, the owner threatened us to make full payment otherwise they will take some other actions. Though they present in such a way, it is definitely not a boutique hotel maximum a motel. Hilarious but they charging so much compared to others. You can easily find a better and cheaper hotel in this beautiful bay

Nothing positive to say!! Maybe Akaylar's quietness!
Every online bookers' nightmare! Stunning pictures on the web, but the worst place I have ever stayed in! Room was not serviced in 3 days (because we had to leave our keys at reception which we didn't and they don't have spare keys!). The 2 guys who were supposed to service the room were anyway so dirty, I preferred them not to enter our room. They have charged all sorts of things to our account which we had a huge fight over. For example, coffee/tea with breakfast is not for free! The owner is totally absent and the establishment was left to 2 guys and a chef to run. I really really do not recommend this establishment at all! Please take this advice!
The hotel is also quite far (19km) from Bodrum which where the buzz is...but busses are running quite often there and back form TL7

The hotel is situated at the beach and maintains its own part of the beach. The hotel rooms are not in the stone house that can be seen in the photos, they are in a house in the back. The rooms are nice, but I found them a bit too small for 2 people with luggage! There is a nice garden to relax and the whole hotel is made for individual travelers and no mass tourism. Nice food is severed here, that we basically didn't move for 3 days much around the hotel! The staff is not very much hotel experienced but they try their very best. Be aware that only the owner seems to speak English, German and Italian besides Turkish. The rest of the stuff speaks only Turkish. You should know at least the numbers in Turkish and the names of the food. Each evening we ate in front of the stone house the very tasty menu and had a wonderful view on the sea.
