Baia Bodrum

Were very pleased with the holiday in this hotel. Very calm bay, there is a promenade to walk, to Jalykovak 15 minutes by taxi (600 lire), to the old town of Bodrum or direct bus 40 minutes or taxi (1300-1500 lire). The hotel has a large area, and at full capacity there are no queues anywhere. At the beach people come to lunch, always lots of free sunbeds, in the dining areas too without problems with seats, especially pleased with the level of service, the staff works very well, any wishes are quickly granted, cleaning for 5. The food is varied, the alcohol is excellent, attended fish ala carte-were satisfied with everything. The main vacationing Turks, Russian couples, which can't help but be happy:)) sometimes Dj plays on the beach, on Saturday dance go-go, in the evening concerts with live music. The sea at the end of June was cool, but after a couple of days warmed up (I think the year is not the hottest overall), a cool and warm pool with lounge music. New sunbeds and umbrellas were also pleased, always clean in the toilets of the lobby and the beach, beautiful cosmetics everywhere (ala green made in Turkey), desserts in the lobby is a separate love”F From the cons I will probably note not the most picturesque bay, behind Torba, a couple of days in front of the hotel were strange (industrial) vessels mining something (the good then sailed), rooms after renovation, but it is also seen in places (normal history in this region in other hotels is the same). The many advantages of the hotel and the efforts of the staff eclipse all the little things listed above, I will recommend clearly this hotel to visit! I recommend rooms with sea view, the difference is not great, but it is worth it;)

With the fast pace of our lives, we can only take a family vacation once a year. Therefore, our expectations for this holiday were very high; we simply wanted to get our money's worth. Unfortunately, the opposite happened for us. First of all, I want to give credit where credit is due. All the staff we encountered at the hotel were extremely friendly, respectful, and helpful. Everyone, from reception to the restaurant, from the cleaning staff to the other employees, did their best. The sea was really beautiful too. Therefore, the only reason I gave it a 2-star rating is because of the effort and attention the staff showed. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the food. The limited variety wasn't the problem in itself; the significant issue was that the food offered wasn't tasty or of good quality. However, we were very disappointed here in terms of both variety and taste. We booked this hotel with an ultra all-inclusive concept, but we often didn't get to eat there. During our vacation, we had to satisfy our hunger with pita bread, lahmacun (Turkish pizza), and ayran (yogurt drink). It was truly upsetting to experience this on such a high-priced holiday. People can't easily go on vacation these days due to economic conditions. You save up for months, make plans, and all you want is to spend a few happy days with your family. Unfortunately, our holiday turned out to be a disappointment instead of a relaxing one. We didn't get our money's worth and spent most of our vacation wishing we had chosen a different hotel. I'm writing this review not to criticize anyone, but because I think the hotel needs to improve, especially in terms of food quality. Because the efforts of such caring and dedicated staff are unfortunately overshadowed by inadequate kitchen services. I hope this criticism will be taken into consideration. Because the beautiful sea and wonderful staff alone aren't enough to make up for the disappointment of the bad dining experience.
